Relax in this new lodge, 900 metres from the beautiful beach of Grande Anse in Deshaies.<br>Located in the heart of a tropical forest, its bioclimatic architecture and red wood construction make it a home in tune with nature while offering you maximum comfort.<br><br>Located at the end of a private road, in a quiet area, in a large property, the new lodge consists of two air-conditioned rooms of 14 m2 each with its own bathroom with walk-in shower and its separate suspended toilet.<br>The central room, of 32 m2, houses the kitchen and the living room with its TV area.<br>This very open architecture allows natural ventilation of the living spaces. <br>The 50 m2 deck with its private swimming pool (5 m x 2.50 m) and a covered terrace of 15 m2 serve as a place to relax and dine. A glimpse of the sea and a view of the forest will put you in total immersion with nature.<br>The kitchen is fully equipped:<br>Dishwasher, microwave oven, traditional oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer, Senseo coffee maker, French press, toaster, kettle, washing machine.<br>Below, a private garden dominates a ravine with its stream where the birds sing resounds. <br><br>Travellers have access to the entire lodge and can walk through their private (but not fenced) 1,000 m2 garden and also take the track down to the small river below.<br><br>We bought the land in 2018. About thirty years before, it was a former agricultural land where the jungle had taken its place. We started to make traces with machetes to assess the topography of the place. We were then able to clear and set up the buildings (3 today).<br>Noble trees, such as Courbaril, Mahogany and Peyi pear growing on the land, allowed us to make beams and boards. There were also large volcanic stones.<br>It is with these materials that we partly built the lodges and developed the land. We left three large mango trees to keep cool and replanted plants and shrubs around the buildings. A large part of the land was simply cleared and the trees preserved. Below the buildings, we access by a "trace" (path) a small stream where we find cocoa trees and vanilla plants, cannon woods, breadfruit trees, cheese trees and mango trees.<br>Today, in 2024, the Lodge is built and it is ready for your stay.<br><br><br><br>
