About this property
Calme, Tranquillité, Nature, Dogfriendly
Nestled in the heart of the charming hamlet of Napt, in Sonthonnax-la-Montagne, this authentic cottage, housed in a former school, invites you to enjoy a nature getaway in the Ain department. Ideally located for hiking enthusiasts, it is close to trails offering breathtaking views of the Jura Mountains and the Ain Valley. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the Retord Plateau, Lake Nantua, and the region's waterfalls, all just a short distance away. The fully renovated 32 m² cottage, located on the first floor of the building, consists of a living room with a kitchenette and a single sofa bed (90x190), a bedroom with a double bed (140x190), a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. This building also houses another cottage on the ground floor, with a shared entrance, ideal for families or friends traveling together, while maintaining their privacy. Outside, you'll enjoy an unfenced garden shared with the second cottage, perfect for relaxing around the garden furniture or a cozy barbecue. Internet access is available, and a cleaning fee is offered for your peace of mind. Everything is electrically heated for year-round comfort. As a signatory to the "I welcome Wouafers to my home" charter, we will be delighted to welcome your dog. Upon arrival, they will find a bowl of fresh water, a cozy cushion, and dog bags for a comfortable stay. However, to ensure an optimal welcome, only one dog is allowed per stay. Whether you're an outdoor sports enthusiast, curious to discover the natural and cultural riches of the Ain region, or simply seeking peace and quiet, this tourist accommodation offers an ideal starting point for a relaxing vacation in the heart of a preserved region.
