Cheerful 1 BR Apt in historic district of Victorian Cape May

The Seashell is a charming gem located on well-known Jackson Street, midway between the beach and the pedestrian mall. This one-bedroom beauty is ideally situated on the first floor of an historic building. The private porch is a front row seat to all that goes up and down Jackson. Walk through the French doors into the recently renovated, open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The pull-out sofa is a queen-sized bed. A sliding barn door leads to the bedroom, with a Queen bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is the newly renovated bathroom, with a luxurious tile shower and fixtures. Entertainment is accessed by streaming your favorites on the Roku-enabled TV. The unit also provides a parking pass to the Bank Street lot located approximately 3 blocks away.. Washers and dryers are available in the basement, and are free to renters. There is an outside shower, and a shared backyard for the building, with a grill, bicycle stand, and table. This unit is perfectly suited for 4 people. Enjoy your morning coffee and your evening libations on the front porch, and then experience all of Cape May's varied restaurant
options.

Perfect weekend getaway
Beautifully renovated, perfect location. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the window coverings on the front doors (sheers) and kitchen window, or lack of. And the upstairs tenants were young children who woke up early and ran relays;( Otherwise it was perfect!

Not returning despite great location
First the good - location. Being steps from the beach and shopping was awesome. Thats it. Now the not so great - 1. Parking is at a gravel lot located ten min walk away. 2. Cramped quarters for a couple and a toddler. I would utilize this apt for a single person or a couple with no kids. Anything more is not smart. 3. Not a lot of fridge space - its really small. 4. Ceiling and walls are paper thin. Renters walking around upstairs might as well have been dribbling a bowling ball. Anyone using stairs are impossibly loud, as well as people shutting the front door, as it slams shut since its an old wooden door. 5. Called the agent to ask a few questions and got a text a few minutes later "sorry i missed your call". Thats it, I had to initiate the conversation. No "how can i help" or even a "whats up". Its just not the kind of customer service I expected. 6. Pull out couch is not even close to comfortable. Shockingly uncomfortable. 7. They want you to be fully paid up a whole 30 days before your stay but it takes them 3-4 weeks to return your security deposit. 8. Coin laundry lol so cheap I'm losing steam on vrbo and other rental sites in general with all the annoying fees and extra bs like cleaning the whole place yourself along with inconvenient checkout times and indifferent agents etc. We obviously won't rent this spot again but the location is 100/100.
