This property was extremely clean and well taken care of, it looked exactly like the pictures. However, my reservation was messed up a few times which was stressful since I was visiting for school obligations. This was fixed by the property owner shortly after contacting her. Parking was scarce and the lot in the back was not clearly defined and very inconvenient. Also, I was not made aware of the toll to get into Norfolk which is where I spent most of my stay which was also inconvenient and costly. Overall, the cleanliness was superb, but I would not stay here again because of the inconveniences.

Sarah-
I’m sorry that you felt the onus was on the host to provide you information about local tolls. There’s no way for me to know what a guests intentions are for travel or intended destinations. I don’t feel like it would be our responsibility to let you know about any particular tolls or nearby roadways. Perhaps more due diligence about tolls would fall on the guest. Some of our guests of course arrive with no vehicle whatsoever so again, without knowing peoples intentions for travel or destinations that would be quite difficult to communicate.
I’m glad you found the accommodations clean, cleanliness is definitely a priority! Yes, the mixup was quickly remedied and again I apologize for that.
The apartment is fantastic and had everything I could imagine needing during my extended stay, if/when I am back in the area again for work this will be the first place I check for availability.
