Kamaole Sands ground floor gem located in inner courtyard (building 7) steps from several great South Kihei Beaches with beautiful views. Lanai opens to immaculately manicured lawn and grounds. Close to BBQs, and pool area (large pool, kids pool, family jacuzzi and adult jacuzzi). Remodeled kitchen with all you need for meal prep. King bed in master bedroom with A/C and pull out queen couch bed with A/C in living space. Two full baths

This resort charges a $30 checkin fee and a $42 resort fee. You will pay these fees directly to the resort when you arrive.

The front desk will share the pool and gate codes as well as they change monthly.

The unit is on the ground floor right in front of the elevator lobby. The bedroom is at the front of the unit next to the elevator, which caused us to lay in bed listening to people who were checking in/out at all hours of the night and morning. Otherwise it was a good stay

Adrien, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay. In our 5 years of renting the unit, this is the first complaint we have received about elevator noise (as you can see from the many 5-star reviews we have received.) We are sorry you experienced some noise from other guests (which is out of our control), but feel your review is misleading - the unit is ground-floor (as clearly stated in the listing), but it is NOT right in front of the elevator. It is around a corner and about 10 yards away from the elevator. Furthermore, it is NOT a front desk lobby where people are “checking in/out” - it is just the elevator for our building, which is one of numberous buildings in the resort. The check-in area is in an entirely different building. Aside from this one complaint you said you had a good stay, yet you gave us a very low rating of 2 stars. I’m curious if this review/ rating is related to our request made to you BEFORE you wrote your review that you reimburse us for damages we found after your stay?

Great location, great extras in our condo. The grounds and safe lighted crosswalks by both exits are bonus especially after sunset. Pool and all amenities are well looked after. There is no power lines across the road in front of the resort. Clear view

A lot of restaurants options are available and nearby. in addition, this property has a large common beautiful grass areas with several nice BBQ stations with sit-down tables. Great Host, very responsive

The condo is great, we were pleasantly surprised with how large and roomy it felt. It is in a great location within a short walk to the beach and, we loved being on the first floor and sitting out on the lanai. The host was super responsive to our question and has gone above and beyond to help us during and after our stay. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great stay

This condo had everything we needed plus more. The location was excellent on ground level, very clean and had a lot of beach supplies. Cupboard was stocked with a few spices and we had all cooking items we needed for meals. The only drawback was the wifi wasn’t good, we had to go outside of the condo to get good service. The fridge also leaked from the ice machine in it so we had to keep mopping up water on the floor but it was minimal. The host was easy to get a hold of, check in and out was a breeze. All in all we would definitely stay here again!!

Mahalo for staying with us, Kayla. Glad you found the unit had everything you needed. We try to stock it as we would want it when we are on vacation with a lot of extras for guests. We actually do have WiFi routers in both the bedroom and family room so the wifi signal is strong and solid but depending on your cell phone provider, there could be limited cell reception in the master bedroom because of the sound proof cement walls and our unit being on the ground floor of a four story building. The good news is you can still use WiFi though. Mahalo again for staying with us. 🤙🏼

Perfect location!

If you’re wanting to stay in Kihei, this is the place! The grounds, the pool area, calm beach steps away, and great restaurants shops, famous cinnamon buns and delish coffee all within a couple short walking blocks. Place was quiet, and relaxing, super comfy bed too! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

My daughter and I stayed at Tony's condo. We had such a great time in Maui and having a cool, comfortable place to stay made it all the better. The condo itself is as described in the listing. Nice one bedroom. The condo was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I did like that there were a lot of plugs to plug in USB to charge phones and other items, but the only downfall is that it was not located on the nightstand. Not a deal breaker. I did have trouble with the TV in the bedroom, but after making sure everything was plugged in and resetting the router and box everything worked fine. I didn't really have time for TV until the last night. The bathroom was clean and there was toilet paper and other amenities. Kitchen stocked enough to cook a small meal. Enough plates, glassware and utensils. I did not use the coffee machine, but there is one. The fridge does offer filtered water and ice, it was locked when we arrived and I did not check it when my daughter said it didn't work, but the second day I saw the lock on the screen and let her know how to unlock it. My daughter did not pull out the couch to sleep on, but she said the couch itself was comfortable enough for 4 or 5 nights. We did use the beach towels, but we rented our own snorkeling equipment. There were chairs and a wagon to use as well, but we did not need them as we travel light when we go to the beach. The gates were easy to use once you have the codes. It is nice not to have to have keys all the time. We did not use the pool or the tennis courts. Also there is a 72 dollar fee when you check in. They do not want cash and required me to give them a card. Not a big deal, but just an FYI. The parking was fine. The spaces are big enough. We did use the washer and although loud, it works fine. We had no need for the AC, we live in southern CA and can tolerate 70's at night very easy. Tony was very fast in getting back to me when I needed help with a few issues. Overall, for comfort, cleanliness and location, I would stay there again. Be aware that most of the restaurants and businesses within walking distance close by 8:30pm or 9pm.

Great Kihei condo close to beaches

Great clean place with everything working well. Very good communication from owners. Option for a minivan rental. The grounds are well maintained and grills are a great feature. Pool needs an upgrade before too long but is functional and enjoyable. Air conditioning in bedroom was nice but a bit loud. We just ran it for an hour before going to bed and then opened windows later in the night when it was quiet outside.That was enough to take the temp down to a reasonable level.
