About this property

This is a completely furnished, 3 bedroom, 3 bath country farmhouse, sitting on 600 acres of farmland and woods and is located on a quiet country back road near Pickett. It's a great place to unwind and take a step back in time. The gardens are breathtaking and the home has high ceilings, old world charm and wonderful surprises around every corner. Guests will love the seclusion and will especially appreciate the 2 car garage in the winter. The rent INCLUDES absolutely everything: lawn care, snow removal, WiFi, trash, water, sewer, electric and heat (monthly cap on utilities) Well mannered pets considered with additional deposit and fees.

Why they chose this property

This property is special because of it's location and history. The farm sits on over 600 acres of land, part of which used to be a grass landing strip for single engine planes. Pilots and farmers from all over used to fly in for a pancakes or just a cup of coffee and stay for hours solving the world's problems or at least taking a respite from the problems. This is especially important when one knows that the famous EAA Headquarters (Experimental Aircraft Association) is located just a hop, skip and jump away. If you would love to spend some time listening to the birds, take a long walk, watch your kids play on the tire swing, or simply enjoy the view, this would be a great landing spot.
