Just wow! Marie and Eric’s wonderful home exceeded all expectations - it’s a stunning property in a beautiful, peaceful location. Communication was excellent and it was so lovely that our hosts were there to greet us and say goodbye. They also arranged an appointment for us at the local vets! The pool was great with parasols and seating around it. Extensive grounds for our puppy to enjoy. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. Would thoroughly recommend as a fabulous holiday home.

Superb house, well equiped and extraordinarily interesting. Only small gripe, no washing machine. For a 3 week holiday, this made packing for that time a challenge. The pool was excellent and not overlooked which made swimming a very inviting experience.Marie and Eric were excellent hosts and any small problems were sorted out very quickly e.g. sticky door lock and failed light bulbs.

Beautiful house with a great garden and pool

There were eight of us at Lorris. The house offers more than enough space, is very nicely furnished, has a pool and a large garden that invites you to linger and relax. The house is located outside Lorris, but the center is still within walking distance. In the surrounding area there are beautiful hiking trails through the forest, a swimming lake and interesting towns on the Loire. Orléans is the largest city in the area and is about 1 hour away by car. The landlords are very friendly and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. "La Fermette des Petites-haies" is the right place if you want to enjoy a relaxed, unagitated stay in France.
