Fantastic place to stay with incredible host

We stayed at Monika's place for 3 months in 2017. It's hard to summarize what a fantastic experience it was. As people who were new to Munich (and all of Germany), we couldn't have asked for a better host during our time there. Monika and her family gave us space to relax and explore, but were always willing to share recommendations, secrets/insights, and provide help when we needed it. When we first arrived after an overnight flight, we entered the apartment to find breakfast (sausages, pretzels, rolls with jelly, champagne...) waiting for us on the table. When our dog-sitter failed to show up and left our pup home alone overnight, we sent a text to Monika and her son, Ingmar, took the dog for a walk and stayed with him until we were able to get home. Those are just a couple examples of the kindness and thoughtfulness we experienced while staying there. Sometimes, we would wake up to a vase of flowers at our front door or a covered plate with breakfast. Monika and her family made us feel like we were family members, as well. We will definitely stay with them again if we're lucky enough to get back to the area. The location is extremely convenient: the house is maybe a 5 minute walk from an S-Bahn station (S6, which arrives every 20 minutes), which is only two stops from Pasing Bf. You will be close enough to get to the center of the action after a quick train trip, but at the end of a busy day surrounded by tourists, you'll appreciate the tranquil, residential feeling of the neighborhood. You're also a 5-minute walk from a small grocery store, a bank, a drug store, and a fantastic bakery and butcher. A couple tips that might be helpful if you'll also be staying for awhile: there's a good, convenient, safe, inexpensive laundromat (washers/dryers) 2 blocks from Pasing station; we used O2 for internet access and generally did okay with two of the 7MB SIM card plans; there's a great "local" biergarten (pretty much known only to neighborhood residents) a 30 minute walk away (ask Monika for directions!)--the beer and food were great! Graefelfing is a decent walk (or super fast bus or s-bahn ride) away and has more shops, restaurants, and things like that. We think that you will be very happy you decided to stay with Monika; when you see her, tell her we miss her (and are sending her hugs from across the ocean!) Have a great time!

Schnell im Grünen und in der Stadt

Größe kleiner als angegeben, wäre mit Kind problematisch. Ansonsten Freundliche Gastgeber, Ruhige Lage, Nähe zu S Bahn, Räder konnten untergestiwerden.

Wohnung nur halb so groß wie angegeben Nicht gut gereinigt, kalk- und Wasserflecken an den Armaturen welche sich mit feuten Lappen abwischen ließen. Folglich nicht gereinigt. Fußboden nicht gereinigt. Ausstattung war gut, es war alles da was man in einer FeWo braucht. Kontakt mit Vermieter über Whatsapp, aber sehr nett.

Schöne Wohnung, sehr gute Ausstattung, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur S-Bahn und damit in 20 Minuten in München Innenstadt, 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zum Ammersee, Andechs, Starnberger See……..und eine nette Vermieterin. Gerne wieder!

The flat is near Munchen by train and the Gräfelfing city is cute. The station is close to the apartment around 5mn by walking. The place seems to be quiet but we were waked up by works every morning at 8.00 am. Another point, the appartement seems smaller than the 60 square meters annonced. There is not washing machine as written in the ad but Monica washed our clothes to help us (thanks :-) ) Monica is a nice person who can help you to easier your holidays.

The place was wonderfully quaint and secluded. The neighborhood was quiet and residential but just a few blocks from the train to go anywhere in Munich you want. Monica and her son were welcoming and helpful. If you want to see the sights of Munich and surrounding areas and come back to what seems like the comfort of your own home, this is the place to stay.

Perfect for a visit to Munich

Monika and her family were of great help with everything since even before our arrival, giving us advice and preparing the place according to our specific needs. The flat was located in a very calm and cozy neighborhood and had everything we needed for our stay, from clean towels to a packed pantry, and even arranged some tea and pretzels for our arrival after the long trip. Me and my dog had a wonderful time walking the calm streets of this beautiful suburb which was a mere 2 blocks away from the forest, ideal for a morning walk or doing some exercise, and getting to the city center for other activities was really easy as the S-Bahn station was just a couple of blocks away and the trip took only around 15 minutes. For a bit more town-like experience, the Grafelfing stop (one stop in the direction away from the center) was just perfect, with many cafes and little shops along the main street. For supplies, there was a supermarket and a pharmacy right next to the S-Bahn station, and a nice bakery and cafe just one and a half blocks from the flat. It was an amazing experience, we felt very welcome in this nice place and totally recommend it!

The host was very kind and responded promptly. The place itself was in a very nice neighborhood. Not comfortable for four adults. The bed was nice however the couch was hard and the bathroom was very small. The property detail listed many amenities that were not available such as a washing machine and dryer.

the guest is right, it's too small for 4 adults. but the fact is, that we hosted always 2 adults and 2 children. 4 adults it was exceptional and we changed it now in 3 persons. the other hand is, that this guests payed per person not even 35€ for a 5* apartment in munich....:-) a washing machine is in the house, also a dryer; for a small fee you can use the laundry-service, a dishwasher is in the apartment. all this is written in the prescription.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen sehr schönen Gegend. Die Bahn ist fußläufig zu erreichen und in kürzester Zeit ist man direkt im Zentrum von München. Unsere Vermieterin Frau Strobl-Klein war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Ein kleines Makel gibt es, das Wlan hat leider nur schlecht funktioniert. Ansonsten ein rundum sehr gelungener Urlaub in schönen 4 Wänden und Umgebung. :-)

Sehr freundliche Vermieterin - sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr persönlich und nicht steril wie manches Hotel eingerichtet. Die Trennung von Wohn- und Schlafzimmer ist gut. Die Wohnung ist ruhig, die Gegend schön. Nur zwei Minuten und schon ist man im Wald und kann ausgiebig joggen oder spazieren. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl, vor allem weil die Vermieterin wirklich an alles denkt und sehr, sehr zuvorkommend ist. Man kann es hier sehr lange aushalten.

Schnuckelige ferienwohnung

Kleine aber feine Ferienwohnung nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Ausstattung hat alles, was man für eine München-Tour benötigt. Nette Begrüßung und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin! Grüße an die beiden kleinen wuschel-Hunde 😊😊

wunderschöne Wohnung - ruhige Lage

Wir haben die Zeit in dieser schönen Wohnung sehr genossen - es ist dort ruhig, mit einem schönen Ausblick und einem eigenen Eingang. Niemand hat gestört, und bei Fragen ist immer ein Ansprechpartner zu erreichen. Zum Osterfest standen Ostereier und Schinken auf dem Tisch, was für eine liebe Geste :)

Tolles Ambiente

Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen.Ruhig und doch in 5 Min. bei der S- Bahn, Bäcker, Tengelmann alles vor der Türe. Die Einrichtung ist keine gewöhnliche Ferienwohnungseinrichtung. Es ist modern, es ist alles neu, teilweise ist sie mit Designer Möbel ausgestattet. Eine ausgesuchte Bibliothek, die Küche war ausgestattet mit Nudeln, Nutella. Putzmittel waren reichlich vorhanden. Die Betten frisch bezogen ich hab selten besser geschlafen. Die Vermieterin war sofort für uns da, als wir dringend einen Zahnarzttermin brauchten, hat sie für uns innerhalb von 2 Stunden einen Termin ausmachen können. alles in Allem eine tolle Woche, das wird für uns eine feste Anlaufstelle in München!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes und gepflegtes Hideaway

Ich war mit meinem Hund für insgesamt zwei Langzeitaufenthalte zu Gast in diesem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gepflegten Apartment und habe mich jedes Mal sehr wohlgefühlt. Durch den eigenen Eingang kann man hier absolut ungestört wohnen, bei Fragen stand die sehr freundliche Vermieterin aber jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Objekt ist super ausgestattet (Küchenutensilien, Ersatzbettwäsche+Handtücher, Homeoffice etc.) und sehr schön gelegen. Ein kleiner Wald mit Park,Metzger, Bäcker, Supermarkt, S-Bahn ist wirklich alles fußläufig erreichbar. Vom Schlafzimmer blickt man in den Garten mit einer riesigen Kastanie und Außenbeleuchtung, vom Wohnzimmer auf den Park. Privatsphäre, tolle Einrichtung, super Lage, gepflegtes Grundstück - Ich habe mich hier auch über mehrere Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!
