NEWLY RENOVATED ROOMS! A historic Lodge on the Honga River and the Chesapeake Bay, Riverside Lodge offers overnight accommodations with breakfast the following morning. All rooms can either have one King bed or 2-twin beds; all rooms have a private bath with common areas being a large den with fireplace and a screened in porch with waterfront views. The property was absolutely beautiful. The lodge is perfect for birders and provides close proximity to Blackwater NWR. The staff were awesome and provided for a perfect stay. No complaints! A wonderful atmosphere and great conditions.

Perfect Getaway

We had the lodge to ourselves. We love the location, very quiet, not a lot of people, the perfect place for some down time. This was our second time and the hosts remembered us! The suggestion of a new restaurant was wonderful. We would love to come down again soon.
