The master bedroom is upstairs with a luxurious queen sized bed, dramatic ceilings, and a view into the cathedral ceiling great room. There is a queen futon downstairs in the living room that comfortably sleeps two. Additionally Auto inflatable bed height twin beds with all necessary liners are available upstairs in the cubbyhole. The bathroom features a rain head shower with a granite counter vanity and a full-size washer and dryer are also for your use.
The kitchen is equipped for entertaining with granite countertops, gas cooking, a full-size refrigerator and beautiful self closing alder cabinets. A dropleaf table accommodates four. The open great room features a wood-burning fireplace for cool nights. A large high resolution LED TV with surround sound speakers is set up for DVD viewing or connecting your iPad/phone for music playback, local TV stations also come in along with the DIRECTV satellite stations.
The cabins water source is a natural springfed well providing incredible water for drinking and bathing, cordless shades throughout the downstairs and 2 inch blinds in the master provide privacy when needed .
The home is powered by a totally off the grid, reliable, high technology solar panel system with a back up generator. There are floodlights that illuminate the drive and lawn for unloading at camp.
Ample firewood is provided for the fire pit and the indoor fireplace.
The property is about 1 mile from the horse trails and is in close proximity to hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and ATVing.
There’s also an instantaneous hot water heater, warming the naturally soft spring well water .
The Otter Creek New York State horse trail system is nearby with 70 miles of trails in the state forest, a destination for horse owners. The Black River is five minutes away for an easy float with a kayak or canoe, it has no rapids near by. Francis Lake is 20 minutes away, it’s a springfed non-motorized lake for swimming and paddling. Stillwater Reservoir is only 30 minutes away for motorboating and the Lewis County trail system for hiking, mountain biking ATV-Ing are also close by. The village of Old Forge with the Enchanted Forest / Water Safari is 50 minutes away. The Oswegatchie River and many other rivers, lakes, creeks, mountains and lots of trails are close by to choose from.
