Marty was wonderful at making you feel at home. She gave the history of the house and was even kind enough to give ,my cousin and I, a thoughtful gift. The location is close enough to downtown but far enough to have privacy as it’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I absolutely fell in love with beautiful garden which was full of ripe raspberries.
If you just need a bed and shower, this will work. Not at all what I expected and I have over a hundred stays on other platforms. No coffee maker but had snacks. Absolutely AWFUL second 'bed' so I bought an air mattress for the two extra nights. An old CRT TV set up not facing any sitting area. And the strangest thing ever...PAY laundry. Listed as laundry available, which is a biggie for me because I pack super light, but host had a pay system to use it.
