About this property

Beautiful, luxury large 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage. Centrally located just above town on a quiet, breezy hillside. Gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez and the surrounding mountains. Saltwater pool (unheated) and palapa area are perfect for sunbathing, yoga and just relaxing. 10 minute walk to pristine beaches, restaurants, yoga studios/gyms, farmer's market, shops, fantastic vegetable market & grocery stores. Tres Palapas Pickle Ball Complex is a 7 minute drive or bike ride!

Spacious living space with lots of light and amenities. Both Bedrooms have a king bed & comfy reading chair. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and additional dining area. Private patio with outdoor dining area complete with its own gas BBQ grill and outdoor kitchen. Organic garden for guest use when in season.

Television in living room has a flatscreen and Apple TV. Guests must use personal logins for Apple TV, Netflix, etc. No cable or broadcast TV service. Some streaming services, like HBO, will not be accessible in Mexico due to copyright restrictions. WiFi is sufficient for streaming and video calls. Excellent cell phone signal.

Guests have private unit with own keypad entrance and private outdoor dining space with great views.

Other things to note:
Owner lives on property. Pool, palapa area and laundry access may be shared with other guests. Our friendly mascot, Jackson, is an English Cream Golden Retriever, whose interests include: long walks on the beach, sticks, playing with other dogs, belly rubs and...sticks

Awesome

We had a great stay at Jim’s Cottages. We stayed in the North Casita … a beautifully decorated and clean 2 bedroom. It was very well stocked especially the kitchen! The outside is just as nice. Jim is very responsive and made our stay a very relaxing holiday.

Why they chose this property

This property is the twin sister of another property listed on VRBO, referred to as Jim's Cottages - South Casita. Although both have been actively rented on other sites, I recently added this one to VRBO as well. Both properties have maintained a five star status since rentals began in 2018.

What makes this property unique

In addition to all the other amenities, the property has a robust backup generator system that keeps power, AC and internet fully functional in case of any power outages, which are not uncommon in Los Barriles.
