Joe Walker was the first white settler in the valley area now known as "Walkers Creek" the lodge is located in the hollow where Joe Walker built his home, although the exact location of his home is unknown. The Lodge at Joe Walker Hollow is a very private and secluded get away, miles of pristine wooded trails to walk. The peace and quiet is second to none, includes a stocked bass pond for catch and release fishing, an "under the stars" hot tub; gas fireplace, a large upstairs family room with 72 inch TV, wifi, a large covered porch with a gas grill. Thirty mintutes from VMI and W&L colleges. If you enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking and privacy you will not be dissappointed.
