Womderul VMI reunion weekend
My group of BR's and our families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin for our 20 year VMI reunion. It's about a 25 min drive from Post but well worth the drive. We enjoyed the pond, canoes, pedal boats etc. The kids fished from the stocked pond which is catch and release. Our group enjoyed the fire pit at night and the beautiful scenery of the mountains from the deck and of course the Jacuzzi was a nice way to hang out at night. We will keep this property in mind for future reunion weekends!

Long weekend
We had an amazing time! We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room to have space if needed and all sit together for meals. The rocking chairs on the covered porch overlooking the field and pond were perfect for coffe and a blanket in the mornings. The beautiful stone fireplace was perfect in the evenings, while the kids were having a movie night upstairs. We have unanimously voted yes to coming back! Thank you so much for your hospitality and having everything we could need in the kitchen, bathrooms and even multiple binoculars!

About the host

Hosted by Andy and Debbie Jackson

Host profile image
Andy and Debbie moved to this location in 2018 after retiring as a carreer Marine and nurse. We immediately knew we had to share the beauty of the mountains and the shear privacy with those still in the workforce. We live nearby and can respond to visitor requests in a timely manner. Our biggest enjoyment is reading our guests reviews and comments in the log book in the cabin and seeing fathers with their children fishing in the pond, walking on the trails, and exploring the creek. We want our guests to experience the peace and quiet we enjoy everyday and thus we try our best to make your trip private but are nearby if you need us.

Why they chose this property

326 acres of pristine forest, half mile of a sanguine creek, bordering 56,000 acres of public land, extreme privacy. This is a great retreat for family and to have renunions with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

Stocked fishing pond, plenty of wildlife, gorgeous views. No other rental will afford the same privacy, peace and quiet.
