A quiet retreat above Idstein

We didn't have a car. The nearest grocery store or bakery were in the center of the "old town", which required a 20 min. walk dowhill.

Wir haben uns direkt willkommen und zu Hause gefühlt. Tolle Unterkunft, tolle Lage, herzliche Gastgeberin und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben sogar die superschöne Terrasse und den kleinen hübschen Garten bei strahlendem Sonnenschein genießen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt und die Ausstattung in der FeWo okay! Sie hat einen separaten Eingang, der allerdings nur durch ein Gartentor und über eine relativ steile, unebene Steintreppe zu erreichen ist, was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird! (Nicht barrierefrei!)Da zur FeWo weder ein Park- noch Stellplatz gehört, ist der Aufenthalt bei Anreise mit dem PKW mit ständiger, nerviger Parkplatzsuche verbunden! Die Terrasse ist schön und sehr sonnig gelegen! Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr klein und eng, das Bett für zwei Erwachsene definitiv zu klein und somit unbequem! Die FeWo verfügt über keinen Notausgang! Ebenso sehr klein und eng das Badezimmer! Super Smart-TV und Wlan! Sehr schöner Kamin, den wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben! Die Gastgeberin Frau Rieß war sehr freundlich und bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen!

Ich war nur sehr kurz dort und wenig in der Unterkunft aufgrund anderer Verpflichtungen. Es war alles vorhanden, was ich brauchte. Das Bett fand ich sehr bequem. Besonders angenehm war an diesem heißen Wochenende die angenehme Kühle in der Wohnung. Ich habe nicht zu bemängeln an dieser Unterkunft.

Tolle Stadt und tolle Wohnung

Die wunderbar restaurierte Altstadt von Idstein als auch die ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Terrasse mit viel Sonne haben uns gut gefallen. Lediglich an das nur 1,40m breite Bett konnten wir uns nicht gewöhnen. Die FW liegt am Hang ca. 25 Min. bergauf von der Altstadt. Die Lage von Idstein mit der Nähe zu Bad Camberg, Königstein, Wiesbaden mit Schloss Biebrich und Eltville ermöglicht viele Besichtigungen.

Ich habe mich sehr sehr wohl gefühlt in der Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieterin super freundlich und kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt. Sehr nett eingerichtet und Ruhe.
