Near the shores of Windmark Beach, located in the charming town of Port St. Joe in Florida’s Panhandle. Ideal for ‘adults only’ with a six-person maximum. Enjoy this fabulous ‘Southern Plantation’ ‘award winning’ vacation home in Phase 1, extensively renovated throughout and offering spectacular water views and breathtaking sunsets from the many decks overlooking the Bay. This exquisite getaway features many French doors & windows, 12’ high ceilings on the main floor and an ‘open concept’ living/dining area, plus a well-equipped gourmet kitchen and a 13’ granite center island with stools plus casual dining area with seating for 6 adults – perfect for intimate entertaining.
Comfortable sleeping quarters with 3 baths/3 bedrooms- each with private decks. The main floor features 2 spacious guest bedrooms each with ensuites plus a third guest bedroom with its own ensuite on the 2nd floor – all with queen size beds.
Enjoy the private fenced ‘dipping’ pool right in your own backyard and have lunch on the patio or perhaps cook up a delight on the BBQ. There are many things to do for adults in Windmark or nearby, but just a few steps away you can walk along the sandy white beaches and feel the gulf breezes. Great for picking shells or watching the dolphins go by. Grab your fishing pole and throw a line off the pier/dock or check out the larger Clubhouse pool overlooking the water. The Windmark Downtown core offers bike rentals, a fitness center and some quaint shops, plus 2 wonderful restaurants and bars known as 'The View', The Mill, Bruno’s Pizzeria and an Ice creamery. There is so much to do without having to travel far like shopping in quaint downtown Port St. Joe, golf at the Port St. Joe Golf Club, rent a pontoon boat at the marina or taking a chartered fishing trip for catching those ‘big ones’ or just go scalloping in the Bay (during scallop season). There are also many wonderful choices of restaurants and bars in town – you won’t need to cook!!
‘Windmark Place’ is a little piece of paradise and will be an unforgettable vacation getaway in the Forgotten Coast!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please put all used towels inside the showers/tubs – do not leave on floors or carpets. All bedding and towels will be cleaned by cleaners.
Please do not leave any garbage in the house. There is a large garbage container inside the garage. All garbage must be bagged.
We appreciate it if everything is left neat and tidy (as per arrival) and all dirty dishes are placed in dishwasher & turned on.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
(25 yrs minimum age) with picture of ID - preferably driver’s license for main renter
DO NOT OPEN ANY WINDOWS! They may not close and there are no screens. Air conditioning is on for comfort.
DO NOT leave any doors open (a/c is always on, will freeze up)

This place was absolutely perfect. Beautiful yet comfortable- with no detail left undone. Perfect Week at Windmark

Cindi, the owner, was so easy and accommodating to work with. The home was beautiful and described accurately. I am hopeful we can be return guests. The only issue is that we may need more bedrooms than this home offers on our next visit.

Relaxing Vacation

The house was clean,comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool big enough to dip in after a day at the ocean. The community owners were very social and nice. Lots of restaurants just over the bridge with no long waits. I will definitely be telling my friends about this house.

Great Property

The house was amazing and just as described in the listing. Pool was nice but we had to do a lot of cleaning of it ourselves, as there does not appear to be a pool company that services it. The owner was super-responsive via email and text message. Beach across the street was pretty rocky and small, but there is a public beach just outside the development. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Port St Joe again. .

Windmark Beach

Booking was simple. Communication with the owners was easy and informative. Simple directions left in the house for any question you might have. Walk across the street to the water, private dock and a small private beach. Club house has a nice pool. Gated entry made us feel very secure. Wonderful private pool in the back of the home. All of the kitchen utensils and gadgets you could possibly need. Full size laundry. Wonderful sunset views from the front porch. One minute to the public access for Windmark Beach. Quick trip to Port St. Joe or Mexico Beach for shopping and restaurants. The View on Old 98 is less than 5 minutes away. Great location. All beds are queen size and that was our only identified flaw… and that’s just personal preference. 10/10 would stay here again.
