About this property

Beautiful, newly renovated (Jan 2022) studio just 30' from the ocean. Whale season has begun and you can see whales from the condos lanai, Nov through April! Shower was just renovated Dec 2023.

Aloha and welcome to The Maui House 207! When you enter our tropical Hawaiian home you will be immediately drawn to the lanai overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. From the second-floor location your senses will be dazzled by the sights and sounds of Maui and all of the beauty you have dreamed about for your Maui vacation.

Resting just 30-feet from the ocean you will experience vibrant rainbows, spectacular sunsets, unmatched views of the islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i and the Humpback Whales playfully coming to greet you during their annual visitation (December - March).

As spectacular as the beauty is outdoors … we encourage you to come back inside, make yourself at home, and experience the comfort of our condo; designed with clean modern furnishings with Hawaiian accents and decor. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities (pots, pans, cutlery, air fryer, etc) so you can cook at home if you so choose. We also try to keep basics in the cupboards such as oils, spices, coffee, creamer, etc..

Once the warm Maui sun has set … enjoy preparing your meals in our fully-equipped kitchen, or sit back and relax with the television. Or if you prefer, mix up your favorite beverage and just relax on the lanai.

Even with all the beauty and excitement that surrounds you, at some point it will be time for sleep. Curl up in the queen size bed and let the sound of the ocean set the stage for a peaceful night’s rest. For additional space the sofa also pulls out to reveal a new & comfortable queen sleeper.

While on Maui, however you choose to spend your vacation, you will find the amenities available at our complex a good starting point.

There are a wide variety of beaches in the area to choose from. Beginning with "Secret Beach" just about 2 blocks from the condo to the beaches of Ka’anapali, Kapalua and Napili; you are a 3-minute walk to a 5-minute drive from the beaches of your choice. We are in the middle of it all. No matter what kind of beach you are looking for … from rocky tides pools to explore, to wide sandy stretches, they are all here waiting for you to explore.

We are nicely situated in Kahana between Ka’anapali and Kapalua; for dining and shopping you are a short walk to the restaurants and shops at the Kahana Gateway Center or a short drive to the world-class shopping found in Kapalua, Napili, Lahaina, and Ka’anapali.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The condo was perfect for us and we really appreciated the cooler and beach chairs. The bed/pillows were super comfy. We loved the Secret Beach and our only wish was we had more time to spend there. The communication with the owners was always quick and informative. We would definitely stay again. Mahalo!

Perfect location, great hosts!

We had a little mix up on our dates and ended up at the the place a night early. Jaime was super friendly in helping us find a place to stay for a night before our actual check in date and was able to get us an early check in for the next day. She was super responsive to all messages and very helpful. The condo is beautiful and the lanai is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunsets. It is located very close to a lot of great beaches, hiking spots, restaurants, and shopping. We had a great time on our honeymoon and Maui House 207 was a perfect home base for us during our stay on west Maui. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at staying on this side of the island!

In 2019, my husband and I decided to take the trip we had been dreaming of – a Hawaiian vacation. We booked our room through VRBO and had the best vacation ever! We did a little bit of everything from snorkeling at Molokini Crater, to eating our hearts out at LaHaina Fish Company, to experiencing Maui’s rich history at Old LaHaina Luau, to driving the road to Hana. We fell in love with all of the beautiful sights such as the waterfalls, lush greenery, the turtles off our Lanai, and many many more. The smells were amazing too, especially my favorite, the Plumeria flower. But our favorite thing by far, was the stunning and magical sunsets that we watched right from our own personal Lanai. The palette of oranges and yellows slowly dipping beneath the crashing waves was something we will never forget. It was then and there, that we fell in love with Maui. Two years later, we bought our oceanfront condo so that we could not only enjoy it ourselves, but to also be able to share the beauty of this utopia with you.

Back at home in Northern California, we both work full time, I for the government and Will in the (race) car industry. We have three beautiful children at home that are an absolute handful (which is why we like to vacation a lot!). We also have 2 Siberian Huskies (Maddie & Luna) and a tuxedo kitty named Thomas. Our lives are busy with work, vet appointments, soccer practice and bills and this Maui slice of heaven was just what we needed!
