Casita Atomica is a 1,000 sq. ft. contemporary Casita perched on the Mesa overlooking the 16th hole of the Taos Country Club. 360 degree views of Taos Mountain, The Sangre de Cristos and the Picuris mountains. The Casita sits on 3 acres of rolling sage independent and very private from the main house.

The open concept architecture features 12 ft ceilings, a fully appointed kitchen with butcher block counters and a stone backsplash for the gourmet chef. The bathroom has a walk-in marble shower and custom built vanity. Casita Atomica was designed to feature an immersive gallery experience. Adjacent to the Casita sits a ramada for lounging and contemplation.

Fantastic views!

We absolutely loved our stay at Atomica. Taos is a great destination. We were there for the skiing but enjoyed the galleries and food. Very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Best casita ever

We had an amazing time. What a beautiful casita with great Art, energy and fully equipped. We’re definitely staying there when we go back to Taos. Pat, thank you for sharing your home with us. You have a great taste and your husband is an amazing artist.

Bigger than expected

Everything was great and as advertised, except it was even more spatious than expected from the pictures. The views were amazing. The host was great as well.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Taos Ski Valley thirty nine years ago. We knew that at some point we would make Taos County our home. Well home it is. Our home and casita were designed and built by my husband. The house was completed in 2016 and the casita in 2021. Both are filled with my husband's art.

Me...I have come to embrace Colcha embroidery. This type of embroidery has its roots in Northern New Mexico. Originally brought over by the Spanish, this stitch was primarily used to artfully mend blankets. Colcha embroidery evolved into a unique, regional art form whose images include: Santos, Our Lady of Guadalupe, vignettes, etc.

Our Olde English Bulldog, Hudson has been with us for four years. He a loving and sweet dog. Meeting Hudson is at a guest's request period.

That's our family. It would be our pleasure to share the magic found in Taos County.
