About this property
Relining! Familyfriendly. Bright. Lots of space. picture window
A hidden gem on the edge of one of the most beautiful and authentic sections of the German Baltic Sea coast. Shortly before the Danish border, this loft is part of a classic Fehmarn farmhouse. The view sweeps through the XXL panoramic windows along picturesque flowering rapeseed fields, over the coast of the Orther Reede and remains at the picturesque lighthouse of Flügge and the nature reserve "Krummsteert-Sulsdorfer Wiek" at the south-western tip of the island - at the other end of the bay hang.
Enjoy breathtaking landscapes as far as the eye can see on the outside, experience a pearl of the familiar charm of antique and modern furniture classics and the comfort of modern home decor. You will find a mixture of antique furniture and design classics. Scandinavian design classics u. a. Made of teak wood from manufacturers such as Cado, AKSEL KJERSGAARD, Finn Juhl, Wegner, PP Möbler, Piet Hein & Bruno Mathsson, ...) and new furnishings (IKEA, Habitat, etc.), as well as antique classics from the Wilhelminian era, the Art Nouveau and the golden twenties. The floor has been generously expanded with lots of love, taking into account the old beams of the sloping ceilings and largely kept in white according to the Scandinavian model (white country house floorboards).
The space available in the apartment is second to none. The expanded attic has a living space of over 330 square meters.
The top floor is divided into a main apartment and an adjoining closed apartment.
Main floor:
The areas are divided as follows:
Huge living room with panoramic view: 130sqm
Bedroom with east balcony: 22sqm
Large kitchen-living room with access to the east balcony: 24sqm
Bedroom with a view over the village: 17sqm
Bathroom with shower, bath and 2 sinks: 14sqm
Bedroom on the gallery with 2 bunk beds: 54sqm
Bedroom on the gallery with a double bed: 34sqm
Apartment:
Eat-in kitchen: 27sqm
Bedroom: 11sqm
Shower room: 5sqm
The large apartment can be reached via a spacious external staircase. The full bathroom, the kitchen and two of the five bedrooms can be reached from the first level. Two further bedrooms are located on a gallery. The double bed room is accessible via a straight cut, white beech wood staircase and is located behind a gallery parapet. The room on the second gallery, which is furnished with two bunk beds, can be reached via an antique cast-iron office staircase that is spiraled. With the bunk beds you can add 12 people.
The small apartment can be reached via a small intermediate hall and is self-contained. It has a cozy bedroom with a 180cm wide double bed and a living area with a small kitchenette and a shower room.
Use the huge balcony to soak up every ray of sunshine that the sun island offers on the deck chairs and say goodbye to the sun in purple, violet and pink. Sunsets are the specialty of this beautiful apartment. By the way: According to the statistics of the German Weather Office, Fehmarn really has the most hours of sunshine a year and is therefore the sunniest island in Germany.
