Le Petit Lynx - Chalet cocooning Haut Jura

We are offering this charming mountain chalet for rent in Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux, featuring a swimming pool and a ski resort within walking distance. It has a floor area of 60 m² and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. It comprises a lovely 25 m² living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms and a bathroom (with shower). Wi-Fi is included – we’re just waiting for you!

The 60 m² property can accommodate 6 guests. It is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A cosy 25 m² living area with an open-plan, fully fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, raclette machine, fondue set), a sitting area, and a pellet stove available as an optional extra,
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: a double bed (140×200)
- Bedroom 3: a bunk bed (2 beds, 90×190)
- A shower room with windows (washing machine and ironing board)
- A separate toilet with a window

Upstairs:
- The mezzanine with a lounge area, relaxation area, TV and a desk area (free high-speed internet access)

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional facilities: electric grill/plancha, high chair, washing machine, cot, baby potty and baby bath, ironing board and iron, and a parasol.

Outdoors:
- A large 30 m² terrace with a plancha, a dining table seating six, a parasol and sun loungers
- A shared indoor heated swimming pool, equipped with changing rooms and showers. Open from 1 April 2026 to 4 January 2027 (Opening dates are subject to change). Opening hours: 9.00 am–8.00 pm without a break. Access is secured by key fobs.

The accommodation is suitable for the whole family and is equipped for adults, children and babies (cot, high chair, baby bath, potty and cutlery). Board games and comics are available for your use.

Ideally situated in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, the chalet is set within a large private estate comprising several chalets harmoniously scattered across the hillsides, offering free access to leisure facilities: a heated indoor swimming pool, a tennis court, a football pitch and a pétanque court...

A central base for exploring the many tourist, sporting and cultural activities on offer in our beautiful Jura region, in both winter and summer. Furthermore, it is close to the village of Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux (a 10-minute walk), where you will find all the local amenities (restaurants, food shops, a casino, a chemist’s, a post office, a bank, etc.)

Fully renovated in early 2024, Le Petit Lynx is ready to welcome you with family or friends for a relaxing holiday.

Activities:
- Cross-country ski trails are a 5-minute walk away. The nearest downhill ski slopes are a 10-minute drive away.
- Several hiking trails nearby for all levels of walkers
- Lakes equipped for water sports
- Unusual tours focusing on local specialities: woodworking, eyewear and Comté cheese, for example:
- A visit to Fort des Rousses is particularly interesting
- The nearby woodworking museum
- Summer mountain activities
- A casino 200 metres from the flat

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free in the block’s car park, 30 metres from the chalet.

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux, approximately 1 km away (3 mins by car), with its famous ‘Des Hirondelles’ line
- Nearest airport: Geneva Airport, 1 hour away.
- Buses run to Saint-Laurent from Lons-le-Saunier, Dole and Saint-Claude.

Further information:
- Staircase leading to the mezzanine is child-proofed (gate)
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- Non-smoking accommodation
- All children must be supervised by an adult both inside the accommodation and in communal areas (swimming pool, etc.)
- Access to the accommodation is via a few external steps – not accessible to people with reduced mobility
- Linen, bed sheets and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (rental and payment to be arranged with our on-site partner). Please contact us to book linen as soon as your booking is confirmed.
- The pellet stove is available on request for an additional charge (includes a full load of pellets in the stove)
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean the appliances after use.
