The house was amazing, the communication with the host superb, and the proximity of the space to Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven/Oak Bluff ferry terminals, shops and locations was unbeatable. It’s a must see and stay if you are planning a family trip.

A beautiful, historic, and wonderfully updated house in a perfect location! Walk to everything in Oak Bluffs and Jetty beach in East Chop. Large covered porch for hanging out on the rockers and dining. Great takeout just a 5 minute walk down the road to Winston’s. Wonderful owners and fabulous neighborhood. It was a perfect stay!!

Great location! This property is a short walk to downtown or a quick drive. Centrally located it’s easy to get to other towns on the Island. The house was very clean and the host was very responsive when I had questions. I would recommend this property to anyone I knew going to Oak Bluffs.

This is our third time staying at Hacienda Maya and each time is better than the last! The house has everything you need from beach chairs, to beach towels to fast WiFi and strong AC for those hot August days. John and Chimene are great hosts and always willing to help out if needed, but not proactively seeking engagement.

The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. I really loved the aesthetic of the house, it was true to its original details while updated for today's conveniences. The yard was very nice, and the location was great. The street in front was busy, but it was an easy walk to the center of Oak Bluffs with all the shops and dining. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home, close to everything!

Wonderfully updated, original summer cottage with tons of character and plenty of space for two families. We absolutely loved being just outside downtown, and just a quick walk to everything! Great living area, updated kitchen, and plenty of bedrooms. Outdoor shower was thoroughly enjoyed as well! Overall, an excellent home base for our first visit to Martha's Vineyard.

Great location, cute house

Great location, very nicely decorated house. Chimene responded very quickly to my questions. We felt very comfortable in the house, highly recommended. We appreciated the little touches like the smart keypad for the lock and motion sensor lights for when we came home at night

My husband and I spent a week on the vineyard with some family. We absolutely loved this cottage! It was so cozy and warm. We immediately felt at home. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Oak Bluffs and minutes away from the beach. We would definitely stay here if we come back to the island!

Convenient Cottage with Character

The home was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for us to hang out in the dining room, kitchen, or living room. And enough space in the bedrooms to get away when some alone time is needed. If you like to sit outside and read the front porch and backyard are perfect. Super close to the marina, restaurants, and shopping.
