Welcome to Coolwater Lakeside© - Ideal for families or couples who enjoy a home where the details and thoughtfulness have already been attended to. Located on Fry Creek, this home offers a private dock with great protection for boats, and a boat lift, yet is just 500' from the opening to 43 mile long Lake Pend Oreille.
The front door opens to an extensive Great Room with views out to the grassy lawn and waterfront. A massive kitchen island offers room for multiple cooks and the kitchen is fully appointed with everything from cook and bakeware, spices, rice cooker, crock pot and commercial grade appliances. A custom made, long rectangular table centers the dining area and a gas fireplace, large flat screen TV and leather couches, under a vaulted ceiling, make for an ideal entertainment area.
The main floor master bedroom suite provides waterfront views, King sized bed and a large stand-alone bathtub with separate shower area. There is plenty of room for younger kids to 'nest' here and a port-a-crib and high chair are provided for families with young children.
Upstairs you'll find 2 private bedrooms, each with a King-size bed, a full bathroom and a separate Cool Club -- which doubles as a 4th bedroom with three bunkbeds, an additional family room for watching movies, playing foosball and a game table for puzzles or game night. Perfect for the kids and their friends, cousins or grandkids.
Outside, 150' of private waterfront on Fry Creek awaits you. Enjoy al fresco dining at the large outdoor table. Soak away the sore muscles after enjoying a day of hiking or skiing in the massive hot tub. Schweitzer Mountain is just 35 minutes away and offers activities all year long. Enjoy s'mores around the outdoor fire pit or ride bikes along the Sagle bike trail across Long Bridge and right into downtown Sandpoint.
Two stand up paddle boards (SUPs) and two kayaks are provided at no additional cost as well as use of the private boat lift on the brand new dock. Board games, ping pong table, foosball table make for many laughs and joy-filled game nights.
**NOTE: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.
**NOTE: Families live here year round and while it's an ideal vacation spot -- it is also intended to be a quiet and respectful community where quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10PM - 8AM. No parties, events are allowed and we require a minimum age of renter to be at least 32 years of age.
**NOTE: This property is equipped with a privacy-safe noise monitoring device. The device measures volume levels (decibels) only, and can alert the property manager if a certain volume threshold is detected. The device does not and cannot record audio.
