This property is our new guest house. We converted our detached garage into a beautiful guest suite. It is open most weekends for travelers looking for a lovely, unique, and quiet place to stay after exploring the Black Hills. Our home sits on 2.5 acres surrounded by pine trees. This property is completely separate from the main residence. You will have your very own indoor and outdoor living space. Although you will feel out in the hills, we are right in town close to all amenities.

This was a peaceful and beautiful location near the attractions. A very relaxing place to spend our vacation. Katie was a wonderful and warm hostess. We so appreciated her homemade bread, butter and eggs that welcomed us on our arrival.
Katie has provided a comfortable and quiet getaway! She definitely goes above and beyond with the delicious homemade bread and fresh eggs. We enjoyed being close to all the Black Hills hiking trails and attractions.
Easy access to everything interesting in western South Dakota. Very comfortable living quarters. Breakfast of a loaf of bread and fresh eggs supplied by owners was an unexpected surprise. All in a lovely neighborhood
This is an adorable, clean place to stay. It is in town but feels like you are in the hills. We enjoyed the little outdoor fire pit where we could sit at night and watch the deer in the hills. It felt very private and has everything you need. As many have said, the fresh, warm bread and butter, and eggs was a wonderful treat when arriving. I would definitely stay here again.
This place was awesome. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. We even had fresh baked bread on the counter and fresh eggs in the refrigerator when we got there. The place was spotless and just so cool. It was definitely home away from home with everything furnished. Would highly recommend if you're coming to Rapid City
This vrbo is the BEST we have ever stayed at! Close to everything yet you don’t feel like your in town. Clean, comfortable, modern, equipped with everything you could possibly need. I did not want to leave. The fresh sourdough that was brought over was so good with sandwiches we took to the top of elks peak and then with breakfast In the am. If we ever get back to SD I would stay again in a heart beat!
We were thrilled from the moment we arrived to this beautiful property. We had plenty of room for my daughter and I, but honestly would’ve been fine with two more people. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. We absolutely loved the modern design. The little patio area right outside the door was so inviting. There is also a very comfy hammock out there. We could not have been more comfortable in this home. Katie even had a fresh loaf of bread waiting for us when we arrived, and she responded quickly to a couple of questions I had. It was the perfect location for all we wanted to do in the Black Hills. It’s close enough to get to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, and Custer State Park, We wanted to be close to downtown Rapid City too, so this worked well for us! I highly recommend this property!
This place is amazing! Everything was as advertised! The cutest place that had everything that we needed to enjoy our 6 day stay in the Black Hills. Conveniently located to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Badlands, Wind Cave, and my favorite, Custer State Park. Katie was the ultimate host! A fresh baked loaf of sourdough bread and fresh eggs were waiting for us upon check in. Katie even delivered a fresh propane canister for the solo fireplace at a moment's notice. Thank you for the magical stay!
This place was perfect for us - located in the middle of all activities we had planned (Custer, spearfish, badlands). Katie the host was phenomenal! She delivered warm fresh bread and eggs which was so nice! This place is brand new and spotless!
Pulled in as it started to hail and rain, we were greeted with a warm welcome and an umbrella walk to the entrance!! Great place with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Fresh bread and fresh eggs made our breakfast delicious. Fantastic location with easy access to destinations in and around the black hills!
Owners just did a spectacular job w this VRBO. Attention to detail is right on point.
What a great place. If your in the black hills, rapid or sturgis this is a beautiful calm getaway and stay. Treated w fresh bread and eggs. And the whole place was absolutely immaculate. Great job making this space so comfortable with easy access to all the beauty the hills have to offer. Thanks so much!
My husband and I had a little anniversary getaway and decided to road trip to South Dakota! We enjoyed every min of exploring the area. The guest house was the icing on the cake! So quiet and comfortable- stocked with everything you might need. It was gorgeous - every detail was perfection! Thank y’all so much for everything!
The experience was excellent! In addition to the ratings above, we were greeted with warm sour dough bread and fresh chilled eggs. We felt instantly welcomed. We would definitely stay again!!!
What a beautiful location and place to stay. We were traveling from the west coast to east and decided to stay in the Black Hills. You cannot find a better spot than this. The location in the hills near Rapid City is perfect for quick access to the Black Hills and the house is ideal for people staying for a longer time periods.
I really enjoyed sitting out on the patio, listening to the wind through the trees and watching the wild turkeys and deer of the neighborhood. The neighborhood itself is also great to walk through, beautiful vistas from the top of the hill.
The inside of the house is 5/5 with clean, comfortable furniture and all the amenities you need for a stay. We especially appreciate the coffee and eggs! Thanks!
Important for digital nomads - the WiFi is fast and has great access from the stay. We didn't have any problems logging in and working.
5/5! A great stay and we hope to return again. Thanks!
We came out to see our daughter who is working at Custer State Park for the season. The one thing she wanted was a home cooked meal! This place was just perfect for our trip. We got into town and everything was waiting for us. We got to catch up a little bit before going to bed. The next morning we made her breakfast with farm fresh eggs and bread courtesy of the host.
The location is very quiet and private. There is a quaint outdoor sitting area to enjoy your coffee in the morning and beer at night. It is centrally located to all that this area has to offer. We went hiking in Spearfish in the morning and then went to Custer State Park in the afternoon and was back in time to cook that home cooked meal. There is a grill so we made her some steak. We had plenty of cookware and dishes. We thought the bed was very comfortable and I am extremely picky. The bathroom was spa quality. Plenty of hot water! This was the perfect location.
