Great spot for a get away
If you are looking for a place that is a reasonable distance from Portland but yet feels like it's in another world, this is it. The combination of location and artistic contribution and facilities makes for a wonderful stay.

Peaceful Relaxation
First off, the host was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful and very clean. She provided amenities for everyone including our furry companions. The private trails were perfect. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. No complaints. Loved the rooftop deck it was our favorite part.

Wonderful escape!
What a wonderful place to relax for a few days! The cabin is beautiful--even better than the photos! The communication was great, and there were many thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the local beer Katy left us (and left some of our own in return). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The trails around the property were great for walking our dog. Sunsets from the roof deck were spectacular. We highly recommend booking this place and hope to return one day!

What a gorgeous home in the mountains
The views were spectacular, the home was full of character and and the furniture was so comfortable. The home owner is an artist and she has her beautiful work displayed prominently. My dog was so relaxed there and it was close to many beautiful places for day trips. I would highly recommend it. A very ZEN feel.

I'm a retired stay-at-home mom who likes to treat my guests as family. I try to anticipate your every need and help you plan your stay. The cabin is very private. I am not on property unless needed. I live 10 minutes away and respond quickly if you need me. :-)

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this little mountain in Maine, 10 minutes down the road from my year round home. I've created 2 miles of private hiking trails and enjoy seeing what wonderful animals pop up on our game camera; deer, rabbit, grouse, coyote! Momma Moose!! There is such wonderful wildlife here. The bird calls are amazing. The star gazing is out of this world!! It's the perfect escape and place to hear yourself think and forget about the world at large. :-)

What makes this property unique

You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but you are nearby to Belgrade Lakes, Farmington and so much more.
