Phenomenal location, in the middle of everything, right off Rose, trendiest block in Venice. Five minute walk to Venice Beach or Abbot Kinney just blocks away. Sun-filled rooms and open floorplan of the living and dining areas w/ white oak floors, and a fireplace. Large kitchen + Viking range, and laundry. Large office fully equipped for Zoom meetings and teleconference, ring light and wireless printer/scanner. Guest bedroom with French doors leading to deck and updated full bathroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with walk-in closet, a third bedroom, and generous sized bathroom with steam shower. No kids under 12 at any time and no dogs no exception, no movie, video shootings, no business gatherings or retreats.

Great, fun house with awesome backyard

Really a fun & fantastic home. Stayed here with my son (who lives in Venice) for 4 days. Really loved the location. Could walk to yummy breakfast, lunch & dinner restaurants. Beds were very comfy and the home is really cool. Awesome layout and lots of eclectic touches. Tia was very helpful & a really great host, easy to communicate with before & during our stay. Backyard was a favorite hangout spot during sunny days and also at night. Had fun watching the NCAA Women’s Finals on the big projector TV in living room!

Thanksgiving getaway

This property was great for our small family. The location is fabulous. Quiet street, blocks from the beach and stores, great restaurants. We loved all the walks we took. The backyard is very nice, too. Great place and fun atmosphere.

It was okay. The house seemed like it was lived in by the owners (or someone renting) and just cleared out for our stay. These were clothes in the drawers and closets. It was a bit run down and not super clean. The contact person did bring over a safe to store our jewelry, valuables (as there wasn’t one in the house when we got there). The location was good, if you like Venice. It was over priced - I’ve stayed at better places for less. The pictures make it seem a lot cleaner and less cluttered. I travel a lot, so maybe I’m pickier than others… but compared to other places I’ve stayed it was just okay.

Beautiful Home

An ideally located home - easily walkable to great restaurants and shops in Venice. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. A great backyard for relaxing or entertaining.

Why they chose this property

So grateful to live in a neighborhood where you can walk and bike everywhere! This area is so vibrant and fun, and the fact that I walk to the beach to watch the sunset everyday is a dream. Venice, you have my heart. I grew up in LA but I HATE driving, so this is the DREAM for me.

My favorite thing about the house is how open and bright and airy it is. Lots of indoor/outdoor spaces. I love bringing a lamp outside and read at night next to the fire pit in the backyard. Coffee in the morning on the front patio is pretty nice too. It's the best!

Believe me, once you spend time here, you'll never want to go anywhere else. And I get major cool points from my friends for living in the hippest neighborhood in L.A. And P.S: it's Foodie heaven here, so make sure you diet before you come.

What makes this property unique

Although the house is half a block away from the coolest restaurants and cocktail bars on Rose Ave-- (Wallflower, Wabi, VBW, Chulita, American Beauty, Rose Café) -- our street is very quiet, safe and peaceful. The house is extremely private, with gated keypad entry and Ring security system front and back. Grab a cocktail down the block, then come home and fall asleep to crickets & ocean breeze.

Other great conveniences include:
- Whole Foods (5 minute walk)
- CVS (4 minute walk)
- Surfboard rentals at the boardwalk (5 minute walk)
- Bird scooters, electric bike rentals on every corner
- Uber wait time for Venice is about 5 minutes, they circle the area because it's so popular, which is great, because there's an Uber driver shortage in L.A. right now. Due to COVID, wait times can often be 20 minutes + in other areas like Hollywood or the Valley.
- Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica Pier, kayaking/sailing in Marina del Rey, Santa Monica Farmer's Market (on Sunday) all within 10 minutes of the house.
- Venice has its own microclimate! Typically 75°F / 24°C all summer long.
