About this property
Available for Thanksgiving for the First Time in Years!
Please NOTE: The heated Estate Pool (shared by all our guests) will be open as long as weather permits. The private hot tub located at your house is available year round.
Named after arguably our country's greatest US Senator Daniel Webster, yes, the Dictionary's Daniel Webster. The Webster house's appearance may feel like stepping back into simpler times, but the 5 bedroom, 5 bath Webster House is our most elegant guest home, equipped with modern amenities to complement its historic appeal. Among the bedrooms, this Stone Georgian Colonial Mansion features two expansive master suites complete with spacious master baths.
We've added a king bed to the Carriage House that is soon to be completed with a kitchen and bath as well. But for now, it just provides space for that extra person or couple or kids.
The Webster offers craftsmanship from centuries gone by matched with every modern luxury and convenience. The newly added hot tub just steps outside of the screened in porch offers relaxing days and evenings for our guests.
The Kensington Master Suite exudes contemporary luxury on a grand scale. The spacious suite features a King-sized bed, plush sitting area with a fireplace, expansive marble bath with walk-in shower and soaking tub, and a dream worthy walk in closet. Master suite guests will also enjoy views of Pine Lake from the second floor walk out balcony. One of the largest Master Suites on Property, it's easy to get lost in this expansive suite.
As the name suggests, the Napoleon Master Suite offers luxurious comfort with a French flair. The suite features a Napoleon-era antique French desk, fireplace with one-of-a-kind trumeau, plush King bed, separate dressing room and beautiful private bath with a shower and tub combination. Unlike its namesake, this suite is not short on any luxury accommodations.
Unparalleled comfort calls to guests who stay in the Marseille Guest Room. The room features a comfortable Queen-sized bed with pillows and linens fit for royalty, and a dedicated bath all its own.
Find privacy and comfort in the Buckingham Guest Room. Located on the lower level, this bedroom boasts one of Pine Manor's only California King beds, a private walkout patio lounge area, and a dedicated hall bath.

The Gibson family has had their roots long planted in Southern Illinois. When thinking back to their favorite memories they were filled with family and the simple pleasures that live just steps off the beaten path. The love the Gibson's have for the area and Southern heritage that comes with it turned from a lifestyle into a dream when they acquired Pine Manor in 1998.
The Gibsons realized their desire to share the culture and luxury of the South and so opened the doors to the Pine Manor Estate. For more than twenty years, the Gibson family has furnished, remodeled, and restored Pine Manor. With the success and warmth the main house brought, the family went on to acquire several more houses, 125 acres of land, a farmhouse, and budding orchards.
This expansive, growing retreat is maintained with care and kept up in timeless elegance. The Estate has upheld the Gibson dream and has provided the perfect setting to reconnect with those around you- all while experiencing classic Southern country culture.
Why we chose Carbondale
The Gibson Family found so many people were enjoying the original Pine Manor Mansion that they bought the Van Zandt Guest House to be able to accommodate more guests. Soon they found themselves buying more and more homes in the Pine Lake subdivision and creating a resort-like feel throughout the entire Estates.
What makes this Guest house unique:
There's absolutely nothing like Pine Manor Estates in Southernmost Illinois or the Tri-State Area. Guests always leave saying they "can't wait to visit again". It's one of those places that you just have to "see it to believe it."

Why they chose this property
The Webster House was the "ugliest" house in the Pine Manor Estate subdivision before we purchased. With Wes Gibson's vision and expertise, it has now become the most sought after house in the entire estate.
What makes this property unique
The Webster offers plenty of space to spread out and yet, ample opportunity to spend time together. Whether you want to meet in the library or the sunroom, there's always room to chat. In addition the bedrooms offer plenty of privacy and luxury when you escape for alone time.
