There is a lot going for this property so I'll just list off a pro/con list.
Pros:
Location - on the private beach. Size of unit and each room + full-sized kitchen appliances. Laundry on-site in the building next door (you pay via cash or app). Free and readily available parking.
Cons:
The unit is obviously flipped and while there are many thoughtful touches, it is like 75% there. They have outsourced most all maintenance, especially at night, which was NOT a good experience. We were passed around to several companies and people and had to fight to get the help we needed when our electricity went out. Each company said we were not listed as a current unit in their care. The maintenance also all seemed to think we were long-term leases, not VRBO/short term. Turns out the electrical panel was not updated when they flipped the unit and it could not handle the stove or space heater. They did have someone come out the next day to update the panel. Aside from that, we did not have a controller for the AC for a week as it was not there when we checked in and it had to be ordered - not their fault, but should have been noticed when they turned the unit. We did not know there was laundry for a couple of days as it was not mentioned anywhere except for a handwritten note with a code to the building next door.
A few more things that could have made the stay sweeter would include having a dish drying rack/mat. Removing price tag from decor and other items.
So much potential! Would consider staying again if a few tweaks were made.
