THE WINDAMER IS A BEAUTIFULl OCEAN FRONT Guest House in Ocean Grove New Jersey.
Available is a super large two bedroom suite available for weekly summer rentals (June thru Sept) and only $3300 weekly. The room is themed and called "SUNRISE IN THE PARK". It can sleep 6 with privacy, 8 in total. Beautifully decorated and complete with full kitchen and private bath. WIFI , 2 adult beach passes, cable flat screen TV. Use of 2ND FLOOR DECK FOR DINING AND SUNRISES!! Ocean breezes and sunrises galore! Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances.The unusually large north and south lawns which gives us a corner to corner expansive property all with ocean views. Weber grills and picnic tables for use by the guests for picnics and meals! There is a washer and dryer on the premises for your convenience. Pillow top mattresses that are the same as the ' W ' hotel' in NYC. Each room is beautifully decorated with casual comfort in mind. Steps to the beach!
We do winter rentals from October thru May (8 month leases).
The Windamer is a Victorian home which was built in 1884. She was converted to a Guest House in the 1940's. The house looks and feels like a B&B. We primarily do weekly rentals in the summer season.
There are 4 apartments which vary in size and vary in the number of people they can sleep. All apartments have ocean views out every window. They all have use of an outside deck as well. They all have full kitchens and full baths and are beautifully decorated. They are fully stocked, (i.e. pots & pans, pillows and blankets). We have cable and wireless internet. The prices vary from $1600- $3000 per week.

My Husband and I are Sally and Guy Blehl We have owned and operated The Windamer since 1995. We live in Montclair NJ and in 1995 we decided to buy a beach bungalow at the shore, where we could go on weekends to relax and enjoy. Well instead we bought this gigantic Ocean Front Victorian Home and have spent the last 22 years lovingly restoring and redecorating this home for our guests to enjoy. Many of our guests have been coming faithfully for many years and have become like family to us. It was one of the best decisions we ever made!

Why they chose this property

The fact that the Windamer is ocean front is one of the obvious reasons we purchased it. With expanse lawns on both sides of the house allow for great picnics and ball games as well. Guy and I both grew up going to the Jersey shore and have always loved it. We wanted to have a piece of it. We are so happy we did. Over the years we have, through our guest house, brought so many people into Ocean Grove who had never been nor heard of Ocean Grove before. Most have fallen madly in love with it, and some have even purchased their own home to enjoy summers for a long time to come.

What makes this property unique

Our home offers such a unique experience in that you'll feel like your at your grandfathers big old home! The piano in the lobby invites sing alongs and the front porch rockers create quite the setting for great conversations. Many of our quests grill and dine every night on the picnic tables set up on the expanse lawns. To catch a sunrise in most rooms it means rolling over and peeking out a window or walking out onto the deck. Being so close you get to enjoy the sea breezes and those early morning or late evening times when there is no one else on the beach! Every Wednesday pm throughout the summer Asbury park has firework s. We all just sit on the decks and enjoy them. Fourth of July weekend is so great between the town parade that goes right in front of our house to the fireworks happening in both Bradley Beach and Asbury Park!
