About this property

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Experience PNW's nature at nearby Seattle's famous Discovery Park and Ballard Locks. Enjoy the woods view, dedicated workspace and private bath while still having convenient access to Downtown. An ideal base to explore Seattle.

The private bedroom and separate bath are on the ground floor of a new, modern townhouse built in 2017. We have installed a keypad entry system, providing flexible and easy access. The house is 10-min walk from Discovery Park to the east and the Ballard Locks to the west. There is a bus route that takes you straight to Downtown in 20 minutes. We (owners) and 2 cats primarily stay on the third floor. Kitchen amenities and covered porch are on the second floor. There is free street parking ONLY.

We ask that you look at all photos and read the description throughly before booking so you have the right expectation. Guests will be requested to acknowledge our house rules upon booking.

Truly a homey experience

I loved the private room and enjoyed the cats that would greet us time to time. I don’t feel at home often this felt homey to us. I was in town for a job. Not far from downtown Seattle. Honestly preferred being in this cute neighborhood over being in the city. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect stay

Walking distance from Discovery Park, and a beautiful walk to Ballard over the train tracks, ballard locks, and the botanical garden. Super peaceful, clean room, comfy bed, and friendly host.

Cozy

Overall really enjoyed our stay here. Bathroom was impeccable. Super close to a bus stop. However, if you’re used to sleeping in complete darkness, there’s a small horizontal window above the bed that doesn’t have blinds and is pretty bright all night due to the neighbor’s porch light. Would recommend bringing an eye mask as it was hard to sleep in.

Cleans and quite, great location!

Such a clean and quiet room and bathroom on the ground floor, close to Discovery Park and downtown Magnolia for coffee and food. Easy check in and smooth all around!

Great property

Great place to stay. Very clean everywhere. Parking was interesting but we always found a spot not too far from the house. Location was great as it is close to many places we wanted to go but was very quiet. Having a TV, coffee pot, and another chair in the bedroom would have been nice.
