We enjoyed our stay at “The Farmhouse”. It was clean, quiet, and overall a great stay.
Plenty of towels, clean linens, blankets, and extra pillows.
Thank you for the lovely amenities.
Absolutely loved our stay ! The house made us feel like home. The beds were so comfortable . The contact with manager was amazing very quick ! Thank you for being so accommodating 💜
Easy to find, Clean, Cozy home. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again if I was in the area. Good and frequent communication with the owners. Everything was as pictured.
This is the second time staying here. It was great the first time and gets better each time. We have already reserved our stay for next year! Thanks guys!
This was the third visit to the white farm house. It's clean and well-appointed. We really enjoyed catching up while enjoying the yard. We saw a neighbors fireworks display and that was a bonus. We highly recommend this house to anyone that needs to unwind.
It was so cute and a little nostalgic. It reminded me of my grandma’s house when I was little—that’s if my grandma’s house was super clean & had nice decorations in it 😉. I only wish we would have been able to stay longer
My family stayed for two nights in this sweet little home. Overall, we had a really good experience. Unfortunately, I found that the dishes weren’t completely clean upon check-in. I reached out to the host to let them know, and they almost immediately offered to come over and clean the dishes or bring us paper plates. I was really impressed by their willingness to make sure our stay was as good as possible.
Our kids had fun playing the air hockey and greeting the cows in the morning. Highly recommend!
Like all good things, the best homes are where form follows function.
This simple farm house is bigger than it looks, amazingly quiet with the solid masonry walls, and surrounded by mature oaks, hickory and maple trees.
The very tame cattle in the old feedlot graze above a fertile bottom down the rolling slope from the hilltop home site.
Loved the homey rural vibe!
Hope to come again!

Traveling for the worst reason; to my Father-in-law's funeral, was made much more bearable by our experience. No neighbors, locusts singing and a huge yard was perfect to gather our thought and say our prayers as we celebrated the life of our dear Ray. Joplin Family Worship Center was 10 minutes away (which btw we HIGHLY recommend for church services). Other family staying at nearby hotels were just about 15 minutes away.
The home was clean and decorated with just the right balance of the old with the new. An important upgrade was the placement of more lights and outlets than the original home would have had. My kids 18, 14 and 9 put to good use the playing cards, books and micropuzzle (which was small but mighty on difficulty). Speaking of small, yes the shower is small, but it is clean, newer, functional and water is very hot! Owners have utilized the space perfectly to not feel crowded and have thought of everything you need so you don't need to ask. But, if you do have a question Fanchion was awesome to get you an answer super fast! UnderCliff restaurant nearby was fun and any other time we would have gone to throw axes at TommyHawks Axe Throwing. We definitely felt we got more for our money here than all of us in a hotel room. Highly recommend for a simply pleasant family stay.
We used the farmhouse as our first getaway for this year. We had stayed in Neosho before and we enjoy the area.
The house was setup with everything the two of us needed. We used the kitchen and the grill. The coffee maker uses k pods so that was convenient.
The only thing i might add is maybe a sitting area outside and maybe a few bushes or trees to add to the view.
The property is quaint and perfect! The cows loved seeing our happy faces! The beds were perfect and loved the kitchen.
We had to explore the cellar due to a tornado warning! But overall- would come back!
Beautiful home.
No frills comfort hits all the marks:
-Full well stocked kitchen
-Great shower pressure & hot water
-Firm king bed
-Spotlessly clean throughout
-Attentive owner communication
We look forward to staying again!
Well maintained house with all the comforts of home. Roomy, clean, well thought out decor and other amenities that were very welcomed. Love the privacy and property. Close to several venues and parks.
