Mountain Getaway with Family

This place was very clean and we would stay here again. It is out in the country and very nice an quiet during the evening/night. No road noise during the night that we heard. There is construction going on, however the noise did not bother us at all. We were gone during most of the daytime and they did wait until 8:00 am before they got started. This area will be completed in a few months and it will be very nice with the new cabins that they are working on at the time of this post. The only complaint I have is the front door does not have a blind or shade on it for privacy. The cabin is very roomy and offers linens with a washer and dryer. It was plenty of room for our family of 5 and gave everyone a room with a TV of their own. We were able to cook and function just like we would at our own home. Parking is right in front of the cabin next to the road. The view from the back has trees all around and the only thing that would have made it better was a swing instead of chairs.

House Was Great, Location Not So Much

We were very excited as this was our first visit to TN. The pictures of the house are accurate and beautiful, but the surroundings not so much. We were informed of construction, but it was worse then they made it out to be. It’s literally all around you! There is no view off the back decks because of the trees or front porch because of construction, so not sure how they took the pictures. The road up to the house is a one way and is so steep and windy. The area around the fire pit is so small and not worth using with the construction and the parking is only very slim right in front of the house. There is also a pool at the bottom of the mountain that looks like you could use it, but it’s not so not sure who it’s for. The rental company never got back to us about a couple things.

Family Vacay

Great place to stay. Clean and roomy. Our family group was 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children. Perfect size cabin for 6. Enough towels for all 6 of us. Loved having washer/ dryer and a few cleaning supplies. Kitchen towels would be welcome.
