Such a great spot. Lovely family and Lovely place. We could have spent hours just rocking and watching the animals. The cottage was just perfect for our needs and there was just something great about coming back to it after a day of running around. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Perfect for one person or a couple. Really enjoyed the farm setting with the cows, chickens a farm Dog Maddie. Had no issues and loved the peaceful atmosphere! Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Overall the experience was good. I would say if you plan to put this property on your stay list then you will want to write down all pertinent info for check in. Internet connection can be limited. The ability to use my phone was limited to no fault of the owners. Property is deep into the countryside. Overnights stays are good but no real extras. Cleanliness was good and male owner was pleasant.

A wonderful experience. The scenery was amazing. The room is all one couple will need. The host and their family were very friendly and were willing to show you around. Being from out of state and visiting family in the area we didn't experience their breakfast but suspected it would have been good. We got up early (3) one morning and sat outside listening to the coyotes yipping in the woods, while we observed the multitude of stars in the clear night sky. We would definitely stay there again. The host also has hand made coffee cups with their farm logo and fresh honey for sale.

Don't come expecting to spread out in a spacious room with all of the space and the amenities of a hotel in town. If you are willing to enjoy a small, simple space with a great view of the farm then this is a great place to spend some time.

The host went out of their way to communicate well and make me feel welcome. They offered a farm fresh breakfast basket that was wonderful. Such an enjoyable stay on the farm. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was so cozy! The farm was so cool and we loved that you could see the farm animals from the windows of the house. We got the farm fresh breakfast that we got to cook ourselves and it was fantastic! Overall such a great place for a relaxing retreat. Cannot recommend enough!

The Henry River Farm and Cottage was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway in the mountains. Mandy and her family were delightful as well. Even with the pumpkin patch festivities taking place, we felt we had privacy. I would love to visit again!

This was a lovely stay with a lovely, hearty breakfast basket. Cleaner than most VRBO’s and the hosts gave us plenty of privacy. Beats any hotel.
