Our group enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful property and is kept pristine. Steps away from the beach and the house is well stocked with everything you’d need. The property manager is great and very communicative. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay

This property was clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. It’s a short walk to the beach access and spending time on the porch on the third floor with beautiful ocean views was our favorite place to spend time. It was a wonderful stay!

Great Stay!

The house was as advertised, a newer home, very comfortable and clean and on a quiet street with quick beach access. It had a nice view of the ocean from the deck on the top floor and being south facing both decks had lovely breezes. The beds were comfortable and the three full bathrooms were a great feature. The common area was very functional and a lovely place to gather. We will probably rent it again in the future!

Great home and perfect location

Blue Heron was perfect for our large family. The four rooms including 2 ensuite bathrooms along another full bathroom and half bathroom. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and to the chairs in the garage Overall, This ia one of the beat vacation rental we have ever used. Property manager was great.

Great location, poorly stocked

We stayed for 7 nights and overall enjoyed our stay — such a short walk to the beach with a hose and outdoor shower at the property — super convenient. The house was very clean when we checked in. We were disappointed however with the lack of anything at all really at the property. There was nothing when we checked in. One extra roll of toilet paper for 4 bathrooms. No extra towels. Fewer hand towels than there were hand towel rings in the house. No beach towels. No body wash, shampoo, etc to speak of. We had to do a massive shop as soon as we got in just to be able to shower. We bought a hair dryer for the house since there wasn’t one. Hope it’s still there for future guests to use as we had to leave it behind. Overall it just seemed like the entire house had been totally wiped out of anything useful to get you started on your vacation, so we had to spend more than anticipated at the store to actually stock the essentials. Something to consider before you book this place, especially if you are flying in and limited in what you can bring. We did reach out to the host and they dropped off extra towels and beach towels, but would be nice to not have to go an extra effort on vacation just to get enough linens for 5 adults plus infant.

Comfort and Convenience!

Lovely home with plenty of space for my whole family. Quick walk down the street to the beach, the pier, coffee shops, restaurants. It was a hot, hot week but we had a ball, even when we stayed inside.

Wedding weekend!

Rented this condo for our family to stay for my son‘s wedding in Wilmington. Such a great location and beautiful condo. Communication with the property management company was amazing. Walking distance to the beach. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Perfect Ocean View Retreat for a Memorable Family Stay!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our son’s parent weekend! This beautiful house with stunning ocean views exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the breathtaking scenery from the two spacious decks. The house was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to enjoy family meals together, and the cozy living room was perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. The bedrooms were spacious and provided a restful retreat, with the sound of the waves creating the perfect backdrop for a great night’s sleep. The location was ideal—close enough to campus for all the parent weekend events but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the ocean. We loved spending mornings on the deck with coffee, soaking in the view, and evenings watching the sunset as a family. This home truly made our weekend extra special. Great stay!

Our friends and I stayed at this house for a wedding. We had so much fun, we were only five minutes away from the wedding venue, and we were able to walk to a couple bars from the house! We will definitely stay here again next time we plan a trip to Wrightsville.

Just what we wanted

The Blue Heron was exactly as advertised and pictured on VRBO. The house was roomy and clean. It is a short walk to the beach.We loved the top deck with the ocean view. We played cards there each evening. This is the third house my family has rented at Wrightsville Beach. Though they were all nice, this was a favorite. I hope to stay at the Blue Heron again.
