About this property

Riverfront Farm Tiny Home, Animals & Star Gazing

This brand new July 2021 tiny home is a dream. You can front porch sit overlooking the creek while you sip your coffee in the mornings, roast marshmallows over a bonfire in the evenings, swim in the creek, prep breakfast on the griddle, or BBQ some steaks on your private deck. Star gazing on a clear night is beautiful at this property!

This is a piece of heaven amidst a 17-acre farm where 3 mini horses often roam free, along with 7 goats, 20 chickens, our cattle dogs Whiskey and Bourbon, 3 sheep, and our mini donkey. The tiny home is next to the animal pen, and it’s located on a breathtaking property where you can walk, sit on a porch swing, have fun watching the animals, or just relax and read a book. Whiskey and Bourbon dogs are very friendly and love to check on our guests to ensure they are having a 5-star ⭐️ experience!

Do note a couple of spots of the interior space have a 5’10” max clearance.

Please note we do feed the animals daily, and collect fresh eggs (you might see the caretaker or myself doing our chores). The main home is sometimes occupied but it’s away from the tiny home.

Our friendly mini horses/donkeys might visit you in hopes of collecting a treat. If you area afraid of animals, this might not be the place for you as we love them and often let them roam free (this includes the dogs who try to keep the animals in their pen).

Nice little cabin
We loved the cabin, we only stayed one night so it was basically a place to sleep. The property is neat with the goats and mini horses. The only two things that should be made aware of and one may be just coincidence but the electric kept kicking out. A guy up the holler yelled and asked if everyone’s power was out and it happened twice. We couldn’t shower or get ready the next morning because it kicked out as I was trying to shower. 😬😬 wife couldn’t do her hair or makeup. I got half a cold shower. Property owner made it sound like the power company was kicking peoples power on and off like some communist crap or something. Second the owners have a Great Pyrenees that watches over the animals. Didn’t have any contact with the dog but he barked ALL night so if you are a light sleeper or noise bothers you this is NOT the place for you to stay. You probably won’t be happy and won’t sleep very well. Owners were nice though what interactions we had. I think if they power was an issue that was known it should have been made known on arrival or maybe a small discount for the inconvenience of not having electric. All in all it was a nice place to stay. It was a little further from town than we wanted but not too bad if you want privacy.

Simple and Sweet
Amazing little jewel. Clean tidy tiny house. Owners make sure you feel welcomed. If you are looking for a quiet place to escape cell phones and the outside world but love animals, you will love this place! We took a record player for background noise and truly had a wonderful stay!

Cute place
We had a great stay! All of the animals were so sweet and fun to watch. We enjoyed a swim in the creek and a fire near the animals. The property manager stayed on property, he introduced himself and then we went our ways. The shed was surprisingly spacious and the bed was super comfy! Our only problem was cleanliness- the shower floor had hair and dirt on it and clearly had not been cleaned. With that being said, we brought flip flops and showered in those. We had a great stay! Thanks!

Why they chose this property

I initially built the tiny house to allow me to host more guests on my mini farm.

What makes this property unique

This property really feels like you are outside. Numerous windows allow you to see what the animals are up to while you brush your teeth! I love staying in this tiny home when not in use....it's simply my favorite place to sleep. At night, you can view a full moon from bed - it makes for a magical place overlooking the creek.
