Response from VrboOwner on 8 Oct 2025
We take the cleanliness of our properties very seriously and sincerely apologize that this one missed the mark. We’re having a coaching conversation with the cleaners to ensure the studio meets both the homeowner’s and Evolve’s standards moving forward. We’re all committed to providing a clean and comfortable space for every guest.
We booked a stay, but the property was absolutely inaccessible with an all-wheel drive vehicle, and there was no outdoor lighting. We never actually found the cabin and had to drive back into town and find another place to stay. Vrbo wouldn't even let us cancel subsequent night's stay, and we ultimately ended up paying for a service we never we able to access or enjoy. Customer support was TERRIBLE from both the host and Vrbo. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Took my Lexus es 350 sedan but was little scared when I read reviews. My car is very low riding. I turned off if wilhite rd to go up the dirt road and just keep foot on gas and went right to cabin. Not very steep at all as my car had no problem with my front drive. I went up and down the mountain at least 6 times with no problems. You have to go at good pace if you go slow you may have problems. I’m a dirt bike quad runner guy so gas is good when in doubt throttle out. Stove didn’t with but fridge was fine. Firepit needed propane ran to store filled it up worked great. Yes next couple can thank me for full tank lol. Exactly what we were looking for. Sun rises right over Mountain View. Would go again
The refrigerator & stove did not work properly. I would not plan big meals due to the appliances situations.

Just an Honest Review
Pros - nice quiet location; nice view; loved the soft bedCons - brown water stains on all walls; gap under door lets critters in; woke up to a dead mouse in the floor; every window has 2 or 3 blinds just broken and dangling; general cleanliness is poor; none of the faucets are actually attached to their surface; bring your own propane for the firepit on the back porch; bring your own broom for the floors and cobwebsOverall: it was a disappointment in many areas. Not worth 165 a night. Suppose that's what we get when renting from a real estate investment company rather than people who put love and effort into their place. Save your money until they renovate and clean this place.

Hang on it's a wild ride
We were well aware going into to this property it was on a mountain in TN. It was small we didn't need anything big it was my husband and I and our 13yr old. Walking in it appeared okay. The front keypad worked ok. It appeared clean. After being in the small cabin for more than 10min we realized that the mini blinds were torn apart in many spots as if an animal was left in the cabin alone. We also noticed the grill was in many pieces next to the outbuilding. The back door didn't lock they just placed a small table in front of it in hopes nobody would realize. I reached out to the owner to let her know so she knew we were not responsible. Upon further investigation we found dirty dishes in the cupboards. Walnuts on the folded towels next to the bed (like an animal had been in the cabin), and mouse droppings in the bed under the pillows. We still stayed that night because we found a lot of that late and there wasn't much we could do. That was an awful choice. None of us slept do to the fact of hearing critters scratch and dig and then we heard them scamper across the floor. We have stayed in TN before and stayed in many cabins in the woods on mountains. This is the first time we have ever had this happen. It was completely unexpectable. With no help from the owner or VRBO. I can only suggest to Run the Other Way!
