About this property

Beautifully decorated two bedroom one bath Casita complete with fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee bar, and laundry room. Wonderful amenities throughout with an upscale atmosphere and attention to detail. BBQ gas grill on the upper patio, lower patio has seating with a beautiful view, and direct Guadalupe river access. Steps down to the river have a hand rail, although not easily accessible for the physically challenged.

Just a short walk to downtown Gruene! EV charging station for guest use only, including high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming smart TV’s. Thorough cleaning initiatives in place for the safety of our guests. We’re also a 100% non-smoking property; no smoking or vaping allowed inside.

Come and enjoy some true Texas hospitality. Take in a concert at the famous Gruene Hall, dine at wonderful nearby restaurants, grab a cold beverage at numerous taverns & live music venues, or enjoy shopping the convenient antique and boutique shops. We’re just a short drive away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, downtown New Braunfels, Wurstfest, Landa Park, the Comal river, and ~20min to the San Marcos Outlet Malls!

Located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you can easily take a day excursion to visit Austin, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, or San Antonio. In fact, some of the most famous BBQ in Texas is easily within driving distance.

Perfect location

Perfect location. Walking distance to downtown Gruene with shops, restaurants, etc. Backyard is gorgeous with river access. Would highly recommend.

Great Place to Getaway!

The casita is beautiful, clean, comfortable, relaxing, and stocked with everything you will need. It’s perfectly located-not in the middle of noisy/busy Gruene but close enough to walk. We enjoyed relaxing campfires and the beautiful surroundings by the river. Terry and Terry were the best hosts! They had excellent recommendations, checked in on us daily and went above and beyond with accommodating all our needs. We can’t wait to return!

Best weekend ever

This property had it all! Convenient location, river access, high-end amenities that met all of our needs, luxurious shower and comfortable mattresses. Terry was an attentive, kind host. He showed us around the casita and explained how to easily access the electronics. He even mailed back something we’d left behind. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

Best place to stay in Gruene!

We couldn’t have been more impressed and happy with our choice of stay! It was located perfectly for seeing all parts of Gruene and we couldn’t have had a better host in Terry! He literally thought of everything. We plan to stay here every time we go to Gruene!

Best Host Ever!

Terry and Terry were the best hosts I have ever encountered over the years I have traveled. They were accessible, responsive, respectful, and accommodating. The location is ideal for spending time in Gruene. Park your car at the Casita and walk to several great restaurants, and music venues including the infamous Gruene Dance Hall. Plenty of fun shopping just a short walk away. Terry gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, fun shopping and Fredericksburg wineries….. all of which were spot on! They even surprised my friend with a delicious birthday cake and balloons upon our arrival. The home is immaculately decorated and clean…… Great backyard oasis to enjoy a peaceful afternoon along a lazy river. There is nothing more important that I can say regarding our wonderful stay except THANK YOU!

I built the Casita at the front of my property to accommodate ease of access, while also allowing convenient river access just down the steps with a quaint location for guests. My personal home is at the rear of the property, however I do respect my guests privacy.

Not only is my beautifully appointed Casita walking distance to the downtown Gruene area and local venues, but it also has private water access to the gorgeous Guadalupe river. There was a lot of thought and taste put into the decor, with upscale amenities to ensure my guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay.
