Be among the first travelers to experience one of the newest Hotel in the Montezuma, Mal Pais/Santa Teresa area of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Aves is absolutely beautiful. Quite a bit more modern than the general vibe of the area, which was just great for me. The room, the pool, etc. were incredibly comfortable and relaxing, but what really made it great was the staff. Mike, the owner, and his crew were phenomenal. They helped us out in numerous ways, including arranging tours, taxis, and massages. It was a genuine pleasure to get to know them. I would gladly go back again, and again.

Great almost new beautiful property. Really a great place close to the Montezuma beach yet in its own jungle heaven. Restaurant was closed to guests yet people we’re having dinner, drinks and being very loud. Reception staff was very courteous and helpful.
