"Woodland Romance Lodge", 1 Br, 2 Ba, Queen Sleeper, (Sleeps 1-4 + babies)
Kate and Tom here... We fell in love with Stonebridge Resort and Branson the first time we visited in 2006. We knew immediately that we wanted a vacation property here. In fact we purchased several properties in the resort, planning some day perhaps to move here. We watched with excitement as the developer built all the facilities around the as he built our cabin just up the hill overlooking the lake. Since then we have purchased multiple other cabins and homes (see our other VRBO listings.) To this day, Stonebridge Resort is our absolute favorite place to visit for vacation. Tom's background is in Media Production, having spent 25 years running a high-end animation facility. Now our son operates the business which has transformed over the years into a web development and internet marketing company. Kate's background and skills are interior design, a talent she puts to good use as a home staging specialist. We both love to travel when we can. Kate loves to ride her horse and Tom loves working around our ranch in Southern California.
Tom purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Tom chose Branson West
What we love about Stonebridge resort is how awesome and unique it is. It is one of the largest resorts in the country...3000 acres of rolling (Ozark) Mountains, streams and lakes, all secured by the 24-hour manned gates at all the entrances. In fact, Stonebridge is more than just a resort. It has actually become a 'village' with hundreds of beautiful estate homes. All the properties are kept pristine and like new and the common areas are beautifully landscaped. It is a great experience to just drive around inside this massive resort complex to see how much it has to offer. In addition, Stonebridge is home to the #2 championship golf course in the state if Missouri (Ledgestone Golf) and rivals some of the best courses in the states. Perhaps best of all are the people. The folks here (both resort staff and residents) are some of the friendliest, kindest people you will meet anywhere. And that's not all. The location of Stonebridge Resort couldn't be better. If you've ever been to Branson, you know how the traffic can be. You can spend hours trying to get into Silver Dollar City or to some of the downtown attractions during peak periods. Stonebridge is only 3 miles from the Branson Entertainment strip so it's very close but you have the feeling at our cabin of being secluded and away from it all. Best of all, from here, you can drive right into Silver Dollar City and avoid all the traffic delays. In addition, we are just past the entrance to most of the Branson Bypass Routes which can take you direct to almost any attraction or show downtown without having to wait for the slow traffic through the Entertainment Strip.
What makes this Cabin unique
When we stay at the cabin, we enjoy taking walks around the paved walkway that goes all the way around the lake. It is magical and beautiful, and especially romantic at night. In the daytime, we've had several families tell us how pleasant it is to sit in the screened-in porch to enjoy their morning coffee or evening meal while enjoying the cricket and frog songs all around. Everything is just so convenient a stroll down to the water and throw a line in. I was amazed to meet a man and his two kids coming back, fishing poles in hand, glowing with joy and laughter. I asked him if the fishing was good and he exclaimed 'This lake is too much fun! You can't NOT catch a fish in this lake.' On the other hand, if you love tennis, basketball, volleyball, or especially Golf, we have everything there at the resort (all year around.) Since I own property at the resort, I can get you special discount rates at the legendary Ledgestone Championship Golf course right on the resort property. Finally, the service is exceptional at Stonebridge. It is like 5-star service at a discount price. If there is anything you need (even laundry detergent) the front desk will get if for you. If you lose a key, no problem. If you want show tickets but don't know where to go, or just don't have the time to get them, the concierge will order everything for you and have it waiting at the front all of this at no extra charge. But best of all, when you book through us, you not only get fabulous discounts on the lodging expenses, you get the simplicity of booking just like calling a hotel and ordering a room. We don't send out complicated forms and contracts; we don't require an immediate cash deposit. Just phone us with your credit card and we lock it in for you at a special rate.

This cabin at Stonebridge was a great place to stay while meeting up with our family over Thanksgiving!! The property manager, Tom, is an incredibly gracious host who makes sure everything is as you would want it.
We did have a minor issue with the Stonebridge front desk telling us our checkout was earlier than it was. But Tom fixed this immediately. Some computer glitch; no biggie.
We enjoyed the Dixie Stampede and Silver Dollar City (almost straight across from the front entrance to Stonebridge). There is a Walmart and local grocery just a few miles down the road in Branson West. Loved Danna’s, also in Branson West, for delicious BBQ and hamburgers.
Thanks again, Tom, for coming thru for us on this property and for allowing us to bring our sweet Lilly! 🐕
The property is very nice, needed a new kitchen table because the current one is broken on top. And the couch had dama
I am so sorry you had problems with the furniture in the cabin. Also, I appreciate you letting me know about these problems. If no one tells me, I can't get them taken care of and I wish you would have let the front desk know about it right away so we could have fixed it the day you checked in.
The thing is, as I explained when we booked, the resort manages all our vacation homes and they employ full time maintenance staff on-site so you should call them if there is anything you need fixed and they will immediately send someone up to take care of it. Please do not put up with anything not being perfect in the unit. That is why I pay the maintenance staff extra to keep my guests not just satisfied but delighted with our level of service and care. Unfortunately, they can't do much if they don't know something is wrong.
Again, I'm sorry you found anything that was not perfect but I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation and did not let these problems get in the way of having a good time. Remind me of this when you come back to Branson and I'll make sure you are better taken care of so your vacation is perfect.
Nice quiet and relaxing
Arrived around 2PM and was quickly checked in along with directions to property 78B. Nice looking cabin from outside with parking directly outside, the inside was very clean from kitchen to bathrooms. We thought there were plenty towels, washclothes for the both of us for our 4 night stay but we had brought some from home in case, plenty water pressure in shower. Kitchen had usual utensils except for steak knives (bring your own). Plenty of pots and pans to cover our cooking needs along with plates, glasses . Bed was fairly comfortable, but i'm use to a more firm matress. The fan in bedroom seemed to have 2 speeds fast and faster. AC in bedroom worked great. Furniture in Livingroom offered 2 chairs although not very comfortable for my height, would be nice if they could be updated, the couch I say the same way, TV is a smart set so you can get Net Flix, Hulu, you tube etc. Over all we were both happy with our stay, the scenery on the drive to cabin is nice along with the location of resort. There is shopping close by for food or any items you may forget with having to drive into the busy tourist areas. We did have neighbors but did not really hear them, there is also a nice screened in deck so no problem with bugs. Thanks Tom, we enjoyed our stay
We're glad that you were able to relax at our home, Paul. We appreciate your feedback on the towels, TV, chairs, and couch. Rest assured that I will look into getting those updated. For your future trips, remember that we book almost 300 vacation homes for other owners, in addition to the ones we own. We can take care of your needs no matter how large your group or what area you'd like to stay in Branson.
Definitely will book this stay again
Thanks for the great review. It makes our day to know that you enjoyed the cabin.
Nice couple-getaway place
Nice, cozy cabin for two people. Only drawback we had was a lack of scenic view but it was too cold to sit outside anyway.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we agree, in November the views are not very scenic. The best thing about the Woodland Romance Lodge is that it is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it is very private. In the Summer you'll get a view of the creek and the foliage and it is only a short walk to the pool area. If you would like a cabin with a panoramic view, we have plenty of those as well. Just give us a call and we'll set you up.
Kate and I like to call Branson 'Las Vegas without the debauchery' because it has the exciting neon-filled main drive but it is all entertainment in good taste...no gambling, sex shows or emphasis on alcohol. If you want to enjoy and share with your family the best entertainment on the planet, there is no better place than Branson. In addition, the Branson area has the best of everything you might want to do on your vacation or business trip.
Would you like to take in a show? Branson has something for everyone. Magicians for the family, rock 'n' roll, country, family harmonies, comedy, variety, dinner shows, gospel, and well-known performers that play limited engagements. In fact, Branson has been called 'The Live Entertainment Capital of the World' because it has more live venue shows than any other city, including Broadway and Las Vegas.
Branson also has some wonderful museums and attractions. You can take your family to play miniature golf, enjoy go-carts, water parks, and history museums. You can see the Titanic and even stop at the famous College of the Ozarks.
One of the many reasons to come to Branson is our shopping. It is so much fun! We have those unique areas that have all the Ozark-flavor shops, and of course we have outlets for those that are always looking for bargains. Our historic downtown shopping is delightful, and we have even added a new shopping area, Branson Landing, on the water front. There are many nooks and crannies around town where you'll find an unexpected treasure, so keep your eyes open for that one unique item you want to take home.
We cannot fail to mention Golf. Branson has many of the best golf courses in the country. In fact in Stonebridge Resort lies the #2 Rated (by Golf Digest) Championship course, Ledgestone. No matter where you golf, you can find pros to help you perfect your swing and improve your game.
Our three lakes are breath-taking and the fishing is for the whole family. We have bass, trout, catfish, walleye, and places to rent a fishing boat, ski boat, or a house boat on which you can watch the sunset at the end of the day.
One thing is for certain, we have FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!! Buffets, fast food, slow food, family restaurants, steaks, fish, food with music, outside restaurants, waterfront restaurants, gourmet restaurants with linen napkins with delicate wines and beautifully arranged food. It's a lot of fun to eat in Branson, even if you just want coffee or an ice cream cone for the kids.
When you think the night is over and you'd still like to do just one more thing... we have a nightlife that will please all. You can sit quietly while overlooking the water, or go dancing and see the celebrities, a comedy club, or a local pub.
Now why wouldn't you come to Branson? It's a family destination with something for everyone. There is not one area in the United States that can beat the hospitality and friendliness that is shown throughout the beautiful Ozarks.
Stonebridge Resort is the best place to stay in all of Branson because of it's location on the west side of town. Here are some of the benefits:
- Tax rate 6.475% - half the tax cost of other rentals
- Always feels secluded and private, no matter how busy Branson becomes. Stonebridge Resort is huge...3000 acres all gated and secure. The millions of visitors to Branson cannot get past the guarded gates (24 hours) so when you return home from the craziness in Branson, true serenity, silence and tranquility await you.
- Miss the traffic to Silver Dollar City - just drive across the highway over to the parking lot. You can wait in traffic up to 2 hours to get to SDC from other areas in Branson.
- Easily get to downtown locations. We are just past the entrances to the traffic bypass routes. Driving down the Entertainment Strip can take hours!
- Stonebridge Resort features so many amenities and things to do, many visitors come just to relax and never even go out into Branson
