La Cabane du Trappeur

In the heart of the Othe Forest, 8 km from Aix-en-Othe, 30 minutes from Troyes and the outlet malls, and 150 km from Paris, come enjoy a unique getaway in a true haven of peace nestled in a natural setting. You’ll be immersed in a Canadian atmosphere. For safety and convenience reasons, children and pets are not allowed. Through our partner “Pause et Vous,” you can enjoy wellness massages on-site (services payable directly to Peggy OTTINGER)—be sure to book in advance. Our Trapper’s Cabin features a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a flat-screen TV, a 180x200 bed (which can be arranged as twin beds), Wi-Fi, and a wood-burning stove. The bathroom features a large shower, sink, toilet, and dressing gowns. Outside, you can enjoy a barbecue on the spacious waterfront terrace or by the fire, go birdwatching, relax during a sauna session (by reservation) or in a private Finnish bath available for self-service, rest in one of the hammocks, or enjoy trout fishing (maximum of 2 catches; bring your own gear).Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Available on-site: pétanque court, raft. Weekend: check-in at 6:00 PM – check-out at 2:00 PM.
