A peaceful retreat located in a popular tourist region (Rocamadour, Cahors, Padirac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Figeac…), known for its fine dining and offering a variety of activities (hiking, biking…). This former blacksmith’s shop is situated in the heart of a small, very quiet hamlet. It’s ideal for peaceful, relaxing moments with its view of the valley! The interior is bright; you’ll find all the comforts you could hope for, and the beds will be made upon your arrival! The outdoor area will charm you with its pool house and private pool (11 m x 5 m), open from June through late September; secured by a cover and separated from the cottage by a fence with a gate, its covered terrace, its swing, and let’s not forget its pétanque court. During the summer, the village comes alive with its village festival and its bread festival in September. It’s close to Cahors, where you can explore its iconic Valentré Bridge, as well as many other villages such as Rocamadour, Padirac, Gramat, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Figeac, and Cabrerets with its prehistoric Pech Merle cave... Two-story house: 38 m² living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette; a laundry room with a private washing machine and dryer accessible from the kitchen and from outside. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (2 beds measuring 90 x 190, 1 bed measuring 140 x 190; sheets provided and beds made upon arrival), bathroom, separate toilet. Air-conditioned upstairs. Electric heating throughout the cottage. Fiber-optic Wi-Fi. A 16 m² covered patio with patio furniture and a barbecue. Two fenced-in outdoor areas: a small area in front of the terrace with a swing, then a few steps leading through a gate to an 800-m² lot with a private pool (5 m x 11 m, diamond-shaped bottom, minimum depth of 90 cm at the staircase side) secured by a roller shutter, ping-pong table, lounge chairs, umbrellas, a locked storage shed with children’s games and books, a clothesline, and a compost bin. A 300-square-meter fenced-in area across from the cottage with a pétanque court. Private parking for 2 cars. The property is not accessible to people with limited mobility.
