Winter guests can warm the condo with the wood-burning fireplace after a day on the slopes, and summer visitors will appreciate the cool mountain temperatures and ceiling fan. You'll love the living area's luxurious furniture, TV, and access to the private furnished balcony with mountain views. The full kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and lots of cabinet storage to help you prepare your favorite meals. The dining table has enough seating for four guests, and there are two stools at the breakfast bar, great for enjoying quick lunches and snacks.

Take the elevator down to the first floor to explore the shared hot tub and gym. Or fire up the shared gas grill to throw a fun poolside barbecue with friends and family.

Good, could be great

Nice, clean place in great building. Unit lacked any extra effort. No board games, missing light bulbs, bunk bed and furniture in 2nd room were cheap. Bathroom needs some love. Hope the owner spends a bit to get this place to great.

1407 Simba Run

We found a number of things that didn’t meet expectations. Couple of the pots were unusable to cook with due to having burnt food stuck on them. Towel bar in bathroom missing, toilet seat was broken and toilet ran constantly. All the floors were very and dirty and sandy. Couch was nice but also dirty and stained. Thought we would be able to use the ski lockers, but no key provided. Also, thought wood would be provided to use the fireplace.

This is a very comfortable unit. The pro's are great hot tubs, good gym, underground parking, convenient shuttle to the lifts or town for dining etc. It is very quiet, despite being fairly close to the freeway. Could use a better coffee pot, 5 cups is kind of small. All in all we had a great stay and would go back.

No refund or rebooking flexibility despite covid test

We found out six days before our scheduled booking that my husband had COVID, which meant that we could not make our flights from Canada to the US, and we would not be able to make it to Vail. Every single company that we worked with in this unfortunate circumstance was flexible, except Vacasa, which is the company that manages this property. They were not willing to provide any assistance. No credit, rescheduling opportunity or even a reduction in price. They said that our cancellation was outside of the 14 day window--but it is impossible to know two weeks in advance that you will get COVID on the day you have to fly. I will never book another VRBO property managed by Vacasa, and I would recommend that others take care. Almost one half of the price of this booking was management fees. Vacasa would not provide any reductions in price, an elimination of management fees (considering that the property was not going to be used) or even a reduced refund despite the fact that it was physically impossible and illegal for us to travel (not to mention that it would have been very rude to go to a vacation rental with COVID). We ended up losing over $1,000. As I said, this was the only company unwilling to work with us in these circumstances. Even Orbitz was more flexible than this management company. That is why I do not recommend this property or this property manager. Buyer beware is a warranted phrase in this circumstance.
