Vail Slope-View Modern Loft: Easy Access To Vail Village
Easy access to Vail Village, the ski mountain, hiking trails, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and FUN. Fully-equipped kitchen, including espresso machine. Free parking + Free town bus - you could park your car and not drive for your whole vacation if you wanted to! During warmer months, relax with a cup of coffee or refreshing adult beverage on the mountain-view balcony.
Recently renovated and redecorated, this modern mountain loft will be your home in the Sandstone neighborhood of Vail with a great open feel. High ceilings and the south-facing windows provide lots of natural light and views of the slopes of Vail Resort. The bistro table set on the balcony is great for relaxing with a drink or snack during the warmer months, while looking out at Vail mountain.
THE BEDROOM is the upstairs loft: → Queen Bed with memory foam mattress → Views out to the slopes of Vail. → Hardwood floors
→ Sleeper Sofa for additional sleeping down in the living room: equivalent to a full-size bed (it's as long as a queen, but as wide as a full; 80"x55"). This sleeper sofa is not like a typical pull-out couch; it's actually quite comfortable, with no springs to cause pressure points. As a bed, it's on the firm side, so I've provided a memory foam mattress topper, in case you prefer your bed to be a bit softer.
BATH For a spa-like experience, the walk-in slate tile shower is equipped with a luxurious rain shower head.
KITCHEN Let your inner chef out: the kitchen is equipped with a basic assortment of cooking tools: pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, measuring cups/spoons, a toaster, blender, etc.
→ Coffee-Lovers: there is a Nespresso machine with aeroccino so that you can enjoy a nice espresso beverage in the morning with frothed milk. When I'm in town I keep a small assortment of coffee pods available, but if I've been gone for a while and many guests have stayed, I can't guarantee that there will still be pods available, so bring your own if you have favorites (the machine takes the original style Nespresso pods).
ENTERTAINMENT There is a TV hung on the wall, with a Roku attached, allowing you to sign into your personal Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Apple TV, and other streaming accounts or simply enjoy the free content on the Roku Channel. Please note that there isn't cable/satellite service here for traditional live TV, although some of the major networks do have streaming apps available on Roku (but who has time for TV when there's so much to do outside!).

Had the opportunity to stay here, communication was great, cupboard is stocked, view was amazing. Short drive to vail proper and hiking trails in the back yard. Highly recommend.
We arrived at the condo and were instantly impressed with the cleanliness, as well as how well organized everything was. The location was great and the bus accessibility was wonderful. We were extremely happy with our experience and would recommend to everyone!
Accommodations were very nice. The view of the slopes from the lofted bedroom were excellent! Nespresso machine was a nice touch and there was an assortment of Nespresso pods provided. We were there during off-season, so it was really quiet. Overall good value!
Easy, fun, convenient-had such a lovely time staying at this condo! Only a 5 minute drive from Vail, our check-in process was super easy, and we were an 8-minute walk from the free shuttle to take you into Vail Village. Also the espresso maker in the morning was an unexpected treat. Thank you!

Thank you, Kitty!
For anyone reading this review in the future, I want to note that it shouldn't take 8 minutes to walk to the bus - there's a bus stop that should only take a couple of minutes (max) to walk to - Sandstone Creek Club.
We needed a place to sleep while passing through Vail. This condo was exactly as described; clean, updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy night’s stay. I’m a coffee lover so the Nespresso machine was on point and made for a lovely morning. Check-in was seamless, as well as communication with the host. Would definitely recommend!
Inflexible checkin, checkout. Overpriced for very average accommodation

Although I am happy to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests when possible, Dave booked last minute for one night in the middle of a holiday weekend and expected to be granted exceptions for both early arrival and late departure even though it simply wasn't possible due to his one-night stay being right between a departing guest and an arriving guest. My home was ready for him at the advertised check-in time. Unfortunately, I believe he would be better suited for a hotel that has many similar rooms to place guests in without disrupting the arrival of others, since that's not possible with a single vacation home rental.
Nice stay. We could not find a remote for the TV except for Roku which required Logins and passwords for streaming services. This did not impact our stay but thought you would want to know. Kerry

Thank you for your stay. The only remote needed is the Roku remote, since it controls all necessary TV functions (power, volume) as well as the Roku. As detailed in the listing, guests can either stream from free channels built into the Roku or sign into their own streaming accounts.
Greg the owner was super responsive to my questions and very helpful throughout the process. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it for other Vail visitors.
While not in the mail village, it's a very convenient and short shuttle ride either to Vail main or Lionshead areas. The stop is a short 2-3 minute walk from the condo. Super easy.
The condo is well stocked and includes in condo laundry which was a plus!

meh.....
Nice place, perfect for two people, however, for $300 plus a night I feel it was over priced and could have been better. How? well, the microwave was taped shut(therefor unable to use) Ikea sofa was hard and not pleasant to spend anytime length of time on, the towel bar and toilet seat in the only bathroom were both loose ( for the record Greg, this should be tightened and if you can't , find one that fits). Towel bar is very close to bath heater(fire hazard).
Greg was prompt and nice to work with. Location was very good for skiing Vail resort.

Thank you for your stay and your feedback, Dawn.
I actually returned a week ago from a trip out to Vail to check on my home and address the issues that you reported. This included tightening the toilet seat (it only shifted slightly when one would sit on it, nothing out of the ordinary, as loosening of the bolts does happen over time, but it's nice and snug now) and seeing why the microwave was taped shut (clearly the previous guest had done this, since Dawn's report was the first I'd heard of it). The prior guest had damaged the door lock, so the door didn't stay closed on its own - it's fixed now.
There is a memory foam mattress pad kept inside the chaise portion of the sofa for people who prefer a softer surface to sleep on. This is mentioned both in the listing and in the house manual, so apologies if that wasn't clear.
My goal is always for guests to enjoy their stay, and the overwhelming majority do, based on the 160+ glowing reviews received across all rental sites. I hope to welcome you back again sometime so that you can have the same high quality experience that other guests have had.
We were in Vail for a wedding at Donovan Park. Greg was very responsive and so easy to work with.
The condo is on the opposite side of I 70 from Vail but only a 5 minute, easy drive. We loved the quiet and privacy and the fact that we had a kitchen, sitting area and loft bedroom for less than the price of a hotel.
I would highly recommend this property and would certainly stay here again!
This place was perfect. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any short term rental I have ever been in. Very comfortable and a great location. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed staying here. The owner went to pains to make sure you have all information nedded for the stay. We really appreciated the Nespresso capsules and staple cooking ingredients available to use. Would highly recommend!

Why they chose this property
I fell in love with Vail on my first trip in 2014. Before I even went home that week, I was looking at condos. Less than 2 years later, I purchased this great loft. Although I looked at many condos in the Valley, this one stood out because of its prime location for easy access to the ski area and Villages, plus THAT VIEW!
What makes this property unique
Town of Vail Sandstone line FREE bus only steps from the condo (Sandstone Creek Club stop). View of Vail mountain through floor-to-ceiling windows.
