This apartment worked well for us. We really appreciated having the off street parking. Gregory was really responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks!
The apartment was clean and sufficient for our 2 night stay. We appreciated having coffee provided to us. Also, when having questions our host was very helpful.
This place was nice.. clean and easy to get to….the off street parking was great bonus! The only issue we had was the bed- needs a new mattress 😉
The owner was responsive and easy to work with!

Thanks for bringing this to our notice. . A brand new bed has been installed.
Greg is a great host. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. First time in Chicago and let me tell you… the drive way for parking is a must have which this place provides. Neighborhood is great, hot showers, climate control environment which you control. Easy process of checking in and out. Yes we would definitely come back to this location.

Thank you John!! It was great hosting you and your wife.
Great location if you are visiting and need a north Chicago location without being right at Northwestern University or closer to downtown. The hosts are very responsive. The apartment has some toiletries and coffee, but you may want to bring your own if you are going to be staying in a bit.
This was such a smooth and easy vacation. Gregory is probably the most transparent, thoughtful, and kind host you can have. The unit was clean and there was access to a private parking lot. If you want a smooth and stress free vacation home - this unit is the way to go!
My husband’s stay was for 2 weeks and it brought on more stress and inconvenience than it was worth. The advertised property does not match what you actually stay in.

I appreciate Melina’s husband for staying with us. We were hinted and grateful to host him. Melina was not the one that stayed. She booked for her husband.
As can be seen from many other reviews, this is an anomaly and can be explained by the fact that for the self-check in, the detailed steps with pictures which were sent by both myself and Vrbo, she did not forward the information to her husband and communicated the wrong information to him verbally which caused him to be delayed in getting into the apartment when he arrived late in the night, until he was able to reach me by phone.
This would have easily been avoided had she forwarded all the required information to him since he wasn’t the one that booked and I could only communicate with her.
Nevertheless, we are grateful to host and serve Melina by hosting her husband as we always do for all our guests with excellence. I wish them everything good, joyful and peaceful.
We had a great stay and really appreciated our time at this VRBO. Having an off-street parking spot was extra helpful as well. The only feedback I'd give to the host was that the edges of the bed did not hold up. Partially because the mattress is soft, and partially because it appears that the bed frame might be broken on one side.
This apartment offers a surprisingly quiet stay despite its location on a busy road. While the off-street parking is a plus (we needed it for a cargo trailer) , exiting is tricky and stressful. Be aware that the steps to the side apartment are quite steep. Inside, the beds and linens were clean, though we did notice the floor was dirty (wear slippers) and a broken trash can. The shower had very low water pressure, but the hot water was excellent. It provided the basics we needed for our work trip, but we found it a bit pricey for the value.

Dear Aleisha,
Thank you for your detailed feedback and for choosing our property for your work trip. I’m glad to hear you appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the clean beds and linens, and the convenience of our off-street parking—especially with your cargo trailer.
I’m sorry to hear that a few aspects didn’t meet your expectations. Your notes about the steep steps, floor condition, broken trash can, and shower pressure are truly appreciated. Thank you for bringing them to our attention. We’ve already begun addressing these areas to improve the experience for future guests.
Regarding the parking exit, we understand how maneuvering a trailer can be challenging, as the driveway and gated space were primarily designed for standard vehicles. I’m glad our parking space was still able to accommodate your trailer, allowing you to enjoy the added benefit of secure, complimentary parking during your stay.
We always aim to provide good value and a comfortable experience, and your honest input helps us grow and serve our guests better. We hope to welcome you again in the future with an even better stay.
Warm regards,
Greg
This was the best property I could find closest to Loyola University at a reasonable price. I actually think the photos undersell the apartment--there's more space than it seems, it's just a strange layout: long and skinny more than wide and square. It was clean and easy to access (as long as don't mind hopping out of your car to open and close the gate to the parking in the rear). I liked having plenty of surface area in the bathroom to spread out stuff. Water pressure wasn't great but good enough and we slept well.
This property is quite quaint with a very comfortable bed. The layout is unique and amenities sufficient. Could have used bathroom hand towels and a bar of soap for the shower.
The location was not too far from Northwestern. It's only a few miles, but takes around 15 minutes to campus. We chose this place because of the great price and the kitchen. I would strongly recommend to the owners that they could appoint the kitchen much better.
This was a perfect property for my husband and I. He was working remotely and the work space is separated from the bedroom/living space. And nothing can beat off street parking in Chicago! Thank you Gregory for a great stay. We will be back.
Arrived at property and got greeted by property manager and the checkin process was quick and efficient. The entire place was clean and organized. Really relaxing and made my first vacation stay comfortable. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Chicago for a short or long stay. One thing I would say is that if you are traveling mainly 2 or 3 people can share the whole space but was perfect for me and also convenient location for food places. Had my first Chicago deep dish pizza and the delivery was quick. Perfect stay-cation.
