Past guests have consistently loved its close proximity to most Northern Door cities events. Entrance to the property is via a cedar tree lined driveway to find a new home surrounded by trees. This secluded, peaceful property gives you quick access to all the great events while allowing you to retreat back to nature when needed. Woodpeckers, deer, turkey, and a host of wildlife are common. And of course summer evenings by the firepit being serenaded by the whip-o-whirls are priceless.

Lovely home, great location, close to everything, away from the hustle-bustle

This property is a gem. In the center and close to popular DC towns, but remote enough that it is a quiet stay in the woods and you can see all of the stars AND we even saw a bit of the northern lights. Owner was incredibly responsive and the house was extremely clean; beds and furniture very comfortable. No issues whatsoever. If you are looking to be in the center of it all, this is not the house for you. But if you want the best of both worlds for DC--this is the perfect place to stay.

Family Trip to Door County

We enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. The home was quite comfortable and well equipped. The property is also situated amongst beautiful cedar trees in a rural setting which was really nice. One of the highlights was the convenient location and close proximity to Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay. We would definitely stay there again!

Guys Getaway

Our group of ten guys had an absolutely amazing weekend. With a couple air mattresses we were good to go at night and during the day it was great to just hang out and relax. Also only a quick 7 min drive to Sister Bay for groceries and a couple of the bars. TV, games, and a nice large couch helped keep everyone busy. Only downside was we were not able to use the fire-pit due to previous guest misuse. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway with a larger group.

This home was built by my brother an myself as a place to get away with my wife an four boys. Upon completion we used this cabin every weekend - then youth sports happened. With the demands of youth sports we used the property less and less every year. We know how much we enjoyed the property and Door County it seemed like a shame to let it sit idle. This led us to hosting.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved how we can get anywhere we wanted in 20 minutes or less. We especially loved how quite and remote we felt while on premise. Sitting in Ephraim enjoying the Fyre Ball festival fireworks and all that festival offered, then retreating five minutes to our cabin surrounded by cedars with only the sound of the whip-o-whirls and darkness so black you can see the Milky Way with your own eyes are memories we will never forget.

This will allow you to have room in your vehicle, while still being prepared for everything the little ones can throw at you..
