Property was mostly as advertised. Two issues were persistent over the week. 1. Noise coming from the old pipes at exactly 9pm every night. Very loud in the bedroom. It was not the steam. Almost sounded like a hammer hitting a pipe at intervals throughout the night starting at 9 for a week. We could not figure out where it was coming from. 2. Fire trucks go by constantly since there is a station nearby. The windows are old and thin which makes it sound even louder.

A Modern Take on the 1920s

The apartment was really nice, full of old charm and modern amenities. Every detail was taken care of right down to the charcuterie boards! My wife loved the art and decor of the rooms. The host even mapped out a picnic and/or a paddle boarding adventure for us! Very close to The Pike Outlets and Shoreline Village. Great views from the roof of downtown LBC, the Harbor and The Queen Mary. Thanx!

Perfect stay. Walkable to restaurants.

This place is one block from our daughter’s apt. The place was just right for the two of us. Everything is provided and the host responds quickly to assist with any concerns. We will stay here again.

The Sovereign is a historic building and is now 100 years old. Our space has original charm. Enjoy amazing views of Downtown Long Beach, Los Angeles, and the San Gabriel Mountains from the living room. The building offers a sunroom overlooking the ocean with a great view of the Queen Mary.

What makes this property unique

Highly walkable to the convention center, restaurants, Pike Outlets, marina, beachfront, bars, breweries, and the Aquarium of Pacific. As well as Long Beach City Hall, Courthouse, Entertainment District, Convention Center, and Arts District.

Everything you need is mostly within walking distance but you can also explore Downtown Long Beach by foot, city bike, or scooter.
You are also a short Uber ride to 2nd street food and shops, Bixby Knolls shops, breweries, and restaurants, Signal Hill scenic view of the city.

Our building has quick access to the freeway which makes traveling to Torrance, San Pedro, Orange County, and Downtown Los Angeles (about a 30-minute drive) a breeze.

Are you up for an outdoor activity? Let's Paddleboard in the canals!
We now offer an inflatable paddleboard you can use to explore the water. The best place to paddleboard is either Mother's Beach or Horny Corner they are both located in Belmont Shore a short 12-minute drive from the condo. Please practice safety when using and transporting the paddleboard. If you are inexperienced but want to learn you can rent one from
Kayak's on the Beach - 5411 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 located on the beach who also offers a quick tutorial for beginners.
(this option is only for healthy experienced swimmers)
If Paddleboarding is too extreme, we have something calmer.

We have added a picnic basket and blanket to pair with your favorite wine and snacks. Only a short walk from the condo this beautiful park offers sites of the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, and the Marina. Located in Shoreline Aquatic Park/Lions Lighthouse.

Bustling downtown area. Currently priced to account for nearby construction on city hall. No construction on the weekends. Scheduled to end in the spring with the opening of a new public park.
