This is an old mill house from when Durham was a tobacco town, the neighbor is called Old West Durham. The house has real charactor. High ceiling, wood floors, thankfully I've done some updating. The HVAC is new, both bathrooms have been updated.

Great Durham stay

We chose this property because it is near where our adult daughter is living this year. We spent a long weekend visiting, including hosting a dinner for her and a couple of friends. The house has a wonderful kitchen and dining room, and if the weather had been a little warmer we probably would have eaten outside on the deck patio set. Nice fire pit in the corner of the yard as well, but we enjoyed hanging out in the den and watching a movie instead. John was a great host and the house met all of our needs. A+!

A cute house with everything you need. The deck and sun room would be nice to enjoy in the summer.

Charming house near Duke!

The house is lovely, and is in a quiet neighborly neighborhood. We couldn't have asked for more, and will hopefully be back on one of our many trips to Durham.

My NC Go To

I was very impressed with the neighborhood and house. I have family in NC and for all future visits i hope this house will be available. My only wish is that there was better lighting especially in the bedroom.

There is just so much to do!! From the Durham Bulls baseball games to Broadway performances at DPAC.
