About this property

Mountain Flower | Game Room, Fireplace, Hot Tub!

If you thought staying in a cabin didn’t sound like much fun – think again. Like a colorful wild blossom, Mountain Flower is a beautiful jewel in a rustic setting! Combining luxury with country charm, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home has room to sleep 12 comfortably and features numerous diversions, from a game room to an outdoor hot tub, all within an expansive resort setting.

When you step inside, the first thing you’ll notice about Mountain Flower is its many windows and skylights that allow the sun to set the wood-planked walls, floor and soaring ceiling aglow. The main floor is home to a fabulous great room outfitted with sumptuous leather sofas and amazingly comfortable armchairs grouped around a large cocktail table. An enormous flat-screen smart TV with DVD player and VCR is suspended above the gas fireplace in a gorgeous stone hearth. With free Wi-Fi and easy access to your Netflix and Hulu accounts, you’ll never have to miss your favorite shows! And with the ceiling fan and all that wonderful space above you, you may never have to turn on the AC even on the hottest summer day.

Mountain Flower’s wide-open great room encompasses a dining area and kitchen as well as the living area. Catch up with family and friends over dinner or a game of cards around a beautiful, spacious wood dining table with seating for six. There’s also room for three more at a breakfast bar that separates the kitchen from the main living and dining area. And what a kitchen! Compact but complete, this stylish cooking space includes spacious worktops, gleaming stainless-steel appliances, toaster, coffeemaker and more. Plus, the cabinets and drawers hold all the cookware, dinnerware, utensils and prep tools you’ll need to whip up the perfect meal or snack. Near the stairs, a bistro table provides overflow seating for two more – or a quiet corner to have a private chat.

On Mountain Flower’s main floor, you’ll find the primary bedroom. A beautiful suite with every convenience, the room includes everything from a luxurious king-size bed and soothing fan tucked into the beamed ceiling to two nightstands with reading lamps and a large cable TV on the dresser with an unimpeded view from the bed. Just outside the roomy en-suite, a large jetted tub waits to soothe your cares away. The other three bedrooms (one upstairs, two downstairs) also contain handsome furnishings, TVs, ceiling fans and ample storage along with tempting queen-size beds. In addition, the upstairs loft serves as a sitting room, perfect for poring over a game of chess, watching TV, surfing the web or enjoying quiet conversation. The sitting room also doubles as an extra bedroom when you open the futon.

With room to sleep 12, multiple bathrooms is a must, and Mountain Flower boasts three of them (one on each floor), all well-supplied with fresh towels for your use. All bedding is provided as well, including linens for the sleeper sofa and futon. A stacking washer and dryer in your cabin ensure you can go ahead and pack light, saving plenty of room in your suitcases for souvenirs.

As cozy as the bedrooms are, Mountain Flower’s game room will no doubt be the most popular gathering spot, especially with the kids. Located downstairs, it includes a pool table, foosball, table tennis, flat-screen TV and a game system. The sofa even converts into a queen-size bed to accommodate extra guests. Whichever game you play, afterward you can celebrate your win (or console yourself for your loss) by heading out to the lower deck and luxuriating in the hot tub. For a truly magical experience, soak among the steamy bubbles in the evening as owls hoot and whip-poor-wills trill beneath a canopy of stars—sheer bliss!

Other amenities include multiple decks with glorious views, one of which contains a gas grill and dining table and chairs for evenings you prefer to dine alfresco. And a large, paved driveway has room for multiple vehicles. Along with its own wealth of diversions, Mountain Flower guests also have access to Alpine Mountain Village’s numerous amenities. In the summer you can splash about in its outdoor swimming pool, then lounge in the sun. Everyone can enjoy the walking trails and the covered picnic pavilion.

With everything Mountain Flower has to offer, you may never want to leave! But if you don’t, you’ll miss all the fun of Dollywood, Gatlinburg Golf Course, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, the Titanic Museum, shops and dinner theaters that are mere minutes away. Not to mention all the activities the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer outdoor adventurers!

So, what are you waiting for? Book your stay at Mountain Flower today!

Convenient Location
We are returning from a 6 day/5 Night trip to Mountain Flowers. Upon arriving at the cabin the check-in process was flawless. We received a code in our Portal and it worked great. Upon arrival, we noticed several cleanliness items. The top of the fridge was dusty, there were cobwebs in the corners, there were some bugs on the floor. Many of the hardwood floors on the main level need to be sanded and restrained. The carpet in the downstairs could also use a good cleaning or replacing. The pictures in the listing definitely were taken at great angles to make the spaces look much larger than they actually were. The cabin also advertised it came with cable TV which was DIRECTV but us not the property manager we’re ever able to get it to work it needed the owners login info and once received we just had a scrolling circle the rest of the trip. The location was very convenient only half a mile to the parkway. The kids really enjoyed the games in the downstairs. All in all our stay was good, we had fun and made many memories, however for the price we paid for the cabin would have expected it to be more kept up and maintained.

Week get away
The place was amazing however the only thing was the temperature of the house was hard to manage. The bottom floor was cold and the loft was extremely hot. Overall we had a great time

Nice cabin but needs love and attention
Overall, the cabin is very nice but there were some housekeeping issues. Also, some things needed updating . One example of this is the worn mismatch blinds in the master suite and the bed headboard not being stable. This could be a great cabin with a lure extra attention.

Mountain flower is wilting
There were so many things that made The Mountain Flower cabin mediocre at best. Deck handrails not nailed together, electrical outlet behind kids tv "hanging out of the wall," no heat in the lower level of the house, nails sticking out of wood trim, cob webs everywhere, headboard not attached to master bed...it would rattle every time we moved, coffee maker groaned like it was about to die, two ping-pong nets .. both were broken, mismatched blinds on windows, the wifi router had to be rebooted about once per day. It felt like someone had furnished this cabin with garage sale items. Not pleased...
