The space
This recently renovated English Basement features a separate entrance so you can come and go as you please. There's street parking included at no charge. Well-appointed amenities, an on-site washer dryer and work-from-home features make this one-bedroom, one-bathroom your perfect home away from home. The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a desk if you need to work. The living area is equipped with a flat screen TV where you can log into your favorite streaming services and a comfortable sleeper sofa that pulls out into a double bed for a third guest. The kitchenette features a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (Drip & French press), plates, silverware and other essential supplies. The cozy dining nook is perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a nice meal after exploring DC’s top attractions. Enjoy strong high speed internet connection throughout the entire guest suite.

Guest access
We are a 15 minute walk to the Rhode Island Metro, 17 minutes walk from NoMA metro and 20 minute walk from Shaw Metro. We are also near a number of bus routes. There is available street parking and off-street, secured paid parking upon request. Uber, Lyft, and other ride sharing apps are easily accessible. We recommend instructing your driver to drop off at the rear alley entrance.

- 1.9 miles to Capital One Arena (Chinatown)

Other things to note
There is a section in the living area and bedroom where the ceiling is low due to a structural beam and if you are tall you may need to duck as you pass. As this is an English basement unit overall ceiling height is a bit low.
If a 3rd guest wishes to stay, an additional fee of $30 per night applies.
Cameras on property: Above garage facing alley; Outside garage facing basement door; Inside garage facing back door; Top of the stairs from inside basement (this last camera is turned off while guests occupy the unit). A doorbell capturing front yard & street. The purpose is to protect our property & provide VRBO customer service with evidentiary support. All cameras are on 24/7 with the exception of the previously mentioned basement interior camera.
