We enjoyed the location and hospitality of host Richard. He gave us a thorough run down of the suite as well as the area. It was spotlessly clean and well organized. We had a lovely stay at the property. We did think access to trails would be closer to the property, but it was fine because we were close enough to everything else. It would be nice if there was a table and chairs on the patio, but our stay was focused around visiting with family so this did not impede the visit. We visit the area twice a year from NJ to visit our son's family. It is always great when we can find a great place to stay since we can't stay with them. Richard's place fit our needs exactly. Richard’s home was clean and comfortable and was everything I needed. I thought there would be a place to sit outside to look at the mountains, but as it turned out, I was gone from 9 am till at least 8 pm, so there was no need. The house lived up to my expectations. Perfection in Malibu Canyon

Clean, spacious and well equipped, perfect for two. Just 30 mins to the beach and 10 mins to Malibu Creek State Park. Great Mexican Cafe and liquor store just blocks away. A short hike just behind the house will take you to a beautiful spot to watch either sunrise or sunset. Spectacular! Richard is a top-notch host, super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of great things to do in the area. He is always happy to chat but also very respectful of your privacy. You can't ask for a better host!

Interesting area-Calabasas

We enjoyed the hills and downhill run to Malibu. Richard is attentive. Thanks to him for allowing a weekend with our nephew who lives far away from our home. Everything essential was available but we sure appreciated the washer and dryer. A few loads and we were prepped for our cross country trek home. It is obvious why Richard is a premier host.

Beautiful neighborhood and place

While we were in California to visit our daughters, my husband and I picked Richard’s place to stay. Richard was an excellent host. He met us as we checked in and explained everything we needed to know about the studio. Actually, it was the easiest check-in we’ve had using VRBO. There was excellent communication when we had questions. The place was in a beautiful neighborhood and with updated appliances. It had a place for our dog to go outside that was a fenced in area. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone planning a trip to California.
