Welcome to the "kolkje" nature holiday farm!

A holiday with us means: Experience nature with all your senses - far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but right in the middle of one of the most diverse natural and cultural regions in the Netherlands!
Rest and relaxation on your own dock ... Hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, swimming, surfing or simply drifting by boat ... day tours to the pearls of the Frisian Eleven Cities Route and the Wadden Islands ... enjoying a coffee or enjoying the beach in the nearby Makkum .. .

Our "Fischerhaus", a completely renovated former horse stable in 2015, guarantees relaxing holidays in a high-quality, modern atmosphere: on the ground floor there is the large, light-flooded kitchen with modern kitchen (induction cooker, oven, refrigerator), a large dining table for 6-8 people and a sitting area with TV and water view. The spacious bathroom with double sink, toilet and large shower, an extra toilet next door and a bedroom with a double bed are also on the ground floor. The open stair-bridge construction leads to the upper floor, where there are two comfortably furnished bedrooms under the sloping roof (one with a double bed and one with two single beds).

The large glass door in the living area leads to the terrace directly by the water, where you can enjoy the sunset on the large wooden bench, have a barbecue or cast your rod from the jetty ...

In the farmhouse there is also a freely accessible kitchen where our guests can use the washing machine, dryer and vacuum cleaner. We also have a small guest farm shop with products from our own production as well as regional and ecological origin.

Animal lovers can look forward to our sheep and lambs, chickens and wild ducks, swallows and huge flocks of wild geese that fly across the farm in spring and autumn.

The use of a fishing boat with an outboard motor and two kayaks is included in the price. For canoe tours with several people, we recommend canoe rentals in the village and bike tours in Makkum.
