Cottage de Galvez: Hot Tub & Walking Distance to the Beach!

Come spend some time at the beach! Welcome to our beautiful historic looking home Cottage de Galvez. We are centrally located in the heart of the beautiful Texas Galveston Island and within walking distance from the Seawall, Beach, Pleasure Pier Amusement Park and many Restaurants & Entertainment venues are right around the corner. Kempner & Menard Parks are both only a few blocks away! Menard offers tennis courts, skate park, water splash pad, and picnic areas. You will only be a short drive to the Strand in Downtown Galveston, the Art District and just a few miles from the Schlitterbahn Water Park and Moody Gardens.
Our home is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath 2 story house that sleeps 8. The upper level has 3 bedrooms; (1) Master bedroom with a King bed with ensuite bath & walk-in closet, (2) room with a Queen bed, (3) room with a double bed with a twin trundle bed underneath and a shared full bath in the hallway. The lower level has a 1/2 bath and the Den in the front of the house has a sleeper sofa and curtains on the door openings for privacy.

40th Birthday Getaway

The Cottage de Galvez was the perfect house for our group. The location was close enough to walk to Seawall Blvd and a short Lyft ride to the Strand. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. The house was well stocked and even had toiletries to start us off. Highly recommend this property!

A great place to stay

This house was excellent. I loved the setup, a ton of space for everyone. Great bedrooms, bathrooms. Super clean and well furnished. Everything was nice and up to date. We loved the backyard set up and hot tub and driveway parking. Great location to get around town. They thought of everything and left a bottle of Prosecco and two bags with their logo, super cute touch. I will stay again when I go to Galveston!

Top notch property

This house has everything you need and is located in a fantastic location in central Galveston. This is my second stay, and I'm super impressed with how well furnished the property is, from beach towels, to kitchenware, to outdoor amenities, even to having a fully stocked Keurig coffee maker. The interior of the house is roomy and decorated beautifully. My family of 5 with young kids are already asking when we can come back again!

The property was nice

The property was nice, a few things there wasn't a iron nor ironing board, the carpet was not clean, and the lights in the back yard didn't work. So we were unable to get in the Jacuzzi at night. Other than those small complaints it was really nice.
